We stayed in room 222. The building itself is a little older but room 222 has been updated nicely: both bathrooms, kitchen, fireplace, and furnishings. Nice view even though the unit was on the 2nd floor and you were looking over the entrance of the building. The room was clean and well furnished. We booked through Epic / Beaver Creek and this was a much better price than I found on various VRBO - type listings. BC was easy to deal with, everything was as it should be and check in was easy.. The only thing we did not care for were the floors (fake wood / luxury vinyl) in our unit - they squeaked horribly when wearing shoes and slippery as h*** when walking with socks. The nice little carpets they had would slide out from under you if stepped on it wrong (which was often). I slipped several times but caught my self on the wall or bed, my teenage child went down once. Ironic - spend all day skiing black diamonds without faltering and then go down from wearing socks in the condo ?!?1? For skiers: very easy walk to the gondola. Ski storage in the parking garage, walk out of the garage ramp, across a not busy street, across unused rail road tracks (it is paved) and into the courtyard where the gondola is just another 100'+ feet away. Very convenient. This was our first visit to BC is a good resort, not great. We prefer Vail, Keystone, Breckenridge and Winter Park to BC. For foodies: not much in regards to restaurant variety within walking distance. Better off hoping in the car and driving to other areas.
