Room is spacious but hotel is old and outdated. Bathroom has a weird smell. Hot bath is good and clean.

The hotel was unexpectedly good specially for money, staff and buffet food is value for money, exceed my expectations

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ``Hokuriku's largest inn with a garden and open-air bath.'' The construction of the baths is very good, including the silk bath in the large public bath and the ``Komireyo no Yu'' that changes depending on the day of the week! As someone who loves hot springs, I wonder if the quality of the hot springs is better? The room is a Honjin Japanese-Western style room (2 beds, sofa, 8 tatami Japanese-style room) for 4 adults + baby. Breakfast is an open kitchen buffet plan, dinner is served in a private room with the "Miyabi Kaiseki Standard Plan", and I was satisfied for the first time in a while. The elaborate dishes are so delicious! In love with the "landlady" - Sake lees and cheese Bavarois was included in the meal and had a taste like no other, so I bought it as a souvenir.

The bath ``Komoreyo no Yu'' changes depending on the time of day, and a male customer entered the entrance to the changing room during the women's bath time. Did I make a mistake? Are you drunk? At the first entrance, there is a noren (women's bath) and a hard-to-understand signboard that says "female", but if you pass by without paying attention to it, you will see the changing room immediately after entering at the next entrance, and the bath in the back. The venue entrance is also fully visible. In this day and age of social media and the spread of the internet, I wonder what's going on structurally. I have told the hotel to take measures, but I am disappointed that they have not responded so well. Please protect yourself. I am writing this so that even one person does not become a victim. I will never go there again.

This was my first time staying at Awara Onsen. It all started with me winning a ticket to Awara Onsen on a JR dice roll. The ticket was fine. Then, I had to decide on a place to stay, and I decided on Seifuso. The deciding factor was the food. The food, supervised by the head chef with experience in Kyoto cuisine, was visually vibrant, and when I ate it, I was able to taste the exquisite harmony of the food, which had a hint of Kyoto cuisine, and the number of dishes and portions were just right, not too many, not too little. I was very impressed, so I'm writing this review.

The buffet wasn't particularly crowded, and there was a wide variety of sushi, steak, crab, and desserts, which were all delicious. You could drink as much as you wanted after the bath, and the towels were in the bathroom, so you could use a new towel every time you took a bath, which was nice. If I come to Awara Onsen again, I'd like to use it again.

I thought the bath would be open until midnight, so I decided to stay at this inn for that reason, so I was disappointed. The food was average, the puffer fish was dry, the crab sashimi was delicious, and the rest was just average. The pike was not of good quality after all. It wasn't worth coming all the way.
