The location is very convenient, right next to an art street in the center of Ubud, close to the only Starbucks in town. There are many alleys in Ubud, and when you go in, you will find various temple-like buildings, a bit like the alleys of old Shanghai. These hostels, homestays and hotels are in these hidden alleys, which is very interesting.
The room has a small balcony, and breakfast can be ordered and delivered to the room, 40k IDR per person. The bathroom is a bit dim, and the water pipes are not smooth, and water is leaking out. The service staff is very enthusiastic, smiling service, and simple English communication is no problem. You can also find them to book a day trip, car, etc. The locals have resources and can compare prices from multiple sources.

I stayed here for 3 nights in May 2024.
The location is on the left side of the narrow alley (with souvenir shops on both sides) right next to Starbucks on the main street in the center of Ubud.
It looks nice in the photos, but the facilities and equipment seem quite old.
It's not that bad, but I don't recommend it for honeymoons or important anniversary trips.
It's fairly clean and not terrible, though.
The plan didn't include breakfast, but for 500 JPY you can eat a main dish, drink, and fruit platter on the balcony of your room (order at the front desk and pay in cash in rupiah).
The location is a little difficult to find and the roads are narrow, so if you are coming by taxi or being picked up and dropped off on an optional tour, I think it would be easier for the driver to get on and off in front of Starbucks.

Struttura carina al centro di ubud ma super silenziosa. la struttura potrebbe investire di più sugli aspetti manutentivi (serratura, rubinetteria, ecc) e curare maggiormente la pulizia. tuttavia il costo ridotto fa sì che un breve soggiorno possa comunque filar liscio.

Relaxing. Met a lot of Australian and Korean people here who were nice. It’s a bit further and more secluded but felt like amenities maybe a little better for price. Great pull and drinks. Tried the Mexican to Bali at the pool bar. We visited the major attractions on way out by renting a driver. Agus showed us how to do archery and Teja took us biking to a local rice paddy farm that was super cool. We also did aerial yoga and the instructor was really nice and patient. I got dizzy from some of the bridge type yoga moves. He was able to help this old man in his 40’s do sort of like an inverted gynmastics cross move. Cool

Near market but secluded a bit. Be prepared for animal noise at night. I did not eat there as better options within walking distance in central Ubud. Something that I not at 2 hotels in Ubud is when you put the sign clean my room’ and go out, they don’t clean the room but turn the card that say ‘do not disturb’. Then they say they didn’t clean because of the sign.

Fantastic hotel in the middle of ubud, great staff and superior service...we love the village tou, and all the amenities. We had a 1 hr massage., with great results. Our 5 day visit was great, and we didn't need to leave the premises for anything...a all round fab time...thanks team padma ubud!
