Delicious breakfasts and the most beautiful view

I am very satisfied with the hotel. I was lucky enough to see the sunset. It is beautiful. The swimming pool and terraces at the back are very emotional. It is a very comfortable and airy hotel, and everything will not be crowded because there are not many hotel rooms, all of which are distributed on flat land

Wauw this is a paradise, so beautiful nature, hotel, restaurant. The beds are so soft, the spa is so great, the staff is so sweet and helpfull. I am grateful that I could expirerende a retreat here. Sun down ricefield terrace dinners, great view swims, i loved everything here.

Very nice and peaceful retreat. Room, drinks and food are very good with a special positive note for the restaurant quality evening and breakfast. Very relaxful swimming pool in front of rice field view. People are helpful and very kind with attention to make your stay are stress-free as possible.

Superb staycation experience and amazing hospitality. Love the view and especially the food. The serene atmosphere is so relaxing. For a family with small kids will love the duck feeding session and strolling around the rice fields. Overal good stay

Beautiful and quiet hotel, not too many rooms, traditional style, surrounded by rice fields, friendly staff, 10 min from Ubud center. Great massage and good restaurant. Good option to visit the area without the noise and agitation. I am lacking imagination to meet the 200 minimum characters.

We stayed with our family of three in a very nicely decorated bungalow close to the beautiful pool. Mathis is e great escape from the busy centre of Ubud and also just 15 minutes away with a shuttle service which is provided. The friendly staff made sure that our stay was perfect. Although there is everything you need at the retreat, there are also great restaurants and spa’s in walking distance. Next to the resort is a nice path trough the rice fields were we had nice walks in the morning to the Penestenan Village. We would certainly come back here.

Mathis is an extremely qualitative boutique hotel with the nicest staff. They have been so kind and helpful. Super quiet and beautifully decorated. I totally recommend the place for a stay with your other half or your family. Enjoy the say!

I recently stayed at Mathis Retreat Ubud for one night, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is quite hidden, and we initially struggled to find it, but the helpful staff guided us through. The check-in process was quick and efficient, which I appreciated. Our first room had an issue with the air conditioning, as it wasn't cooling properly even after an hour of waiting. However, the manager, Ibu Ningsih, and her team were incredibly accommodating. They promptly prepared another bungalow for us and even upgraded our room. Although some amenities like the kimono and slippers weren't initially set up, the staff quickly provided them upon request. This minor inconvenience did not detract from our overall positive experience. Breakfast at the Teracotta restaurant was delicious, and the service provided by Wayan was exceptional. One of the highlights of our stay was the thoughtful birthday surprise for my husband. The staff arranged a beautiful birthday decoration and cake, making the day even more special. Thank you to everyone at Mathis Retreat Ubud for a wonderful stay. Your attentiveness and kindness truly made our visit memorable.

There was a very warm welcome. The staff helped with anything we needed like washing out clothes, aranging a driver. Unfortunately there were a Lot of moscitos because of the Rice field, but it was a beautiful view. The room was a bit humid because of the weather and the ricefield.
