The hotel is located in the Western National Park, and there are dead trees everywhere. I thought it was strange. After asking, it turned out that everything starts to grow only in November when the rainy season begins. The hotel service is very good, and the snorkeling at Menjangan Island is also good. You can also go to the adjacent hotel Octagan to experience different meals. The two hotels provide free transfers and share the pier.
The hotel forgot to change the bath towels, which is not satisfactory.

Great experience. Recovering in covid world. Would recommend having personal transportation during a stay. Monsoon wing best - suite room excellent. Beach not a beach with no pool available. Can swim at end of jetty if you wish. Everything has a price - all experiences. 200000RP per person park entry.Breakfast was wonderful. Lunch and dinner a let down. Can’t see it reaching the standard suggested by the pricing in the near time- in future who knows? So many positives if you limit the negatives. 2-3 days recommended. All options higher in cost than Kuta / Seminyak region.

Als erstes möchte ich die tolle Lage im Nationalpark mit wunderschönem Hausriff zum Schnorcheln erwähnen! Man kann hier wirklich entspannen und die Natur geniessen, auch wenn man dadurch recht abgeschottet ist. Auch positiv kann insgesamt das Personal und das gastronomische Angenot bewertet werden. Unsere Unterkunft, die Residenz, können wir leider nicht empfehlen. Diese Unterkunft hat zwar einen tollen Pool, ist aber sonst unpraktisch, da alles auf mehrere Gebäude aufgeteilt ist, was wir als unpraktisch empfanden. Leider war die Einrichtung alles andere sks einer Residenz würdig, sie ist eher ungemütlich und nicht zum verweilen eingerichtet, was nan mit erwas Deko und Lounge Möbeln einfach verbessern könnte. Dann kam hinzu, dass einer der sortigen Butler sehr unsngenehm war. Wir empfanden ihn als aufdringlich, distanzlos und fühlten uns pberhaupt nicht wohl in seiner Gegenwart, was schwierig war, da er sich auch auf dem Gelönde befand. Fazit: Kann empfohlen weden, dann aber besser eine Beach Villa buchen und sicher nicht die Residenz!

Wir hatten ein Strandhaus direkt am Meer umgeben von Bäumen Hirschen und Affen mitten in der Natur. Bereits an der Schiffsanlegestelle des Hotels kann man sehr schön Schnorcheln. Natürlich noch viel imposanter bei der nahegelegenen Insel zu der vom Hotel Bootsfahrten angeboten werden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das zum Hotel gehörende Restaurant ist wunderschön am Meer gelegen und sowohl das Nacht- wie das Morgenessen immer sehr gut.

Was für ein Erlebnis, den Strand mit freilebenden Affen und Hirschen zu teilen. Wunderschöne Anlage, tolle Aktivitäten wie Kajak fahren oder schnorcheln, sehr aufmerksamer Service und super leckeres Essen direkt am Strand. Ein wunderbarer Ort, um sich über die wirklich wichtigen Dinge klar zu werden.
