π΄ An Honest Take on Mejore Beach Hotel Amed π΄ My partner and I, both in our fifties, recently spent some time at the Mejore Beach Hotel Amed. While the hotel's photos showcased its beauty, our experience had a few surprises in store. The beach lounger area was a bit smaller and busier than we anticipated, making it a bit challenging to find a comfortable spot. The vibrant atmosphere was enhanced by the presence of millennial guests enjoying their time in G-string swimwear or budgie smugglers but it did feel a bit crowded for those seeking a quieter retreat. We were looking forward to room service as advertised; however, we learned that food could only be enjoyed in the restaurant. This was a departure from what we had in mind for cozy in-room dining. Regrettably, the in-room safe was out of order, which left us without a secure place to store our valuables. Dining at the hotel's restaurant provided a mixed experience. While the food was average overall, the addition of melon fruit served alongside omelettes was a fail The shower only had 2 settings Fire Hose, and a trickly rain sprinkler, both underwhelming One thing to consider if you're planning a stay on a Saturday night is the neighbouring establishment's music. The music's volume was loud in fact felt like it was on the lawn, and might not be suitable for those seeking a peaceful evening. All in all, our time at Mejore Beach Hotel Amed had its ups and downs. It's important to weigh the lively atmosphere and the inconvenience of the advertised room service against the potential drawbacks for a more tranquil getaway. We come to Amed every 2 weeks and try different places, we will not be trying here again.

A wonderful hotel β we canβt speak highly enough of Amed Lodge. Stunning location, wonderful rooms, delicious food, and exceptional service. We booked nearly the entire hotel as a mixed group of British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) members: couples, singles, and friends; SCUBA divers and non-divers alike. The hotel felt like our own private villa. The staff were attentive, courteous, and helpful. The location is right on the beach with a beautiful house reef for snorkellers. There are loungers, a deck area with beach views, a pool and plenty of local sights to keep non-divers entertained. Itβs a wonderful relaxing base just a few minutes by car or 10-minute walk from Amed centre. The staff were wonderful in accommodating the needs of our mixed group over the week. Thank you to all for making us so welcome and our holiday so memorable.

Great location for diving and walking to several restaurants. Rooms are basic, but comfortable, cold AC, hot water and firm bed. All rooms have private seating area. Staff easy to communicate with . They provide a free water bottle fill up station, no need to buy plastic bottles. Only negative is no car access or parking. We will return

My family stayed at the Baliku Dive Resort for a few days as a stopover on our way to visit family in Australia. It's a bit of a drive away from the airport, but worth the extra driving. Amed is a stunning place and the Baliku was a fantastic place to stay and explore. The restaurant was great (my son became obsessed with the beef rendang, and my daughter is still jonesing for the mango lassis) - there are also some great warungs nearby for lovely local food. The location is brilliant - seconds away from the Japanese shipwreck which offers some of the best snorkeling in Bali, and with stunning views over Lombok, which was particularly great, as I was up at dawn with jetlag, and watching the sunrise was something I'll never forget. The rooms were large and comfortable, the infinity pool looking over the sea is gorgeous too, and the staff were delightful. A massive recommendation for a very affordable and still luxurious and gorgeous place. A great place to stay for a scuba diving tester (which we did), snorkelling on the coral, or for more established divers. Definitely recommend breaking up the journey back to the airport (Tirta Ganga is a great stop-off on the way) and making sure you allow plenty of time for the airport run to allow for the traffic.

Came here to access the snorkelling on Lipah beach. We tried other spots in Amed but this was the best during our time for visit. Crystal clear water and you step off the black sand into the water and it is just full of life. Huge patches of coral all sorts of fish. Calm water not too deep. Nice to see a diver installing frames on the sea bed with coral stems to grow more reef. Note that for sunbeds on the beach you have to get from the beach chaps, we paid 100k for 2 beds all day. Can also rent snorkelling gear from them but we had our own. We eat in the Vienna restaurant every day for lunch. Brilliant service, amazing view, nice breeze. All food we tried was good. There is a pool next to the restaurant and the staff let us dip in there even though we were not residents. In my opinion best snorkel spot right off the beach in Amed, especially with a 9 and 6 year old kid neither of whom had properly snorkelled before but after one day they love it. Go early for snorkelling, lunch at vienna, then more snorkelling. Also the beach is soft volcanic sand a lot of others are pebbles and rocky⦠love vienna and this beach!

I staid at Camessa one night with my wife and daughter and it was simply perfect : the room was super spacy and really nice with marber style, the view on the beach was top, AC and hot water were provided despite a really low price, the swimming pool was great and clean, the night security guard was friendly and serious about the supervision of our private car and rental motorbike, and the reception staff was smiling, welcoming and helpful with a free late check-out until 2pm. We will soon be back ! Thanks for all guys

The hotel looks modern, clean and luxurious. At first, the staff gave us a friendly impression because of our welcome-juice but then we recognised a change. They offer services and products that they can not afford: post stamps for postcards but they had nothing. Instead they suggested that they will call a driver for 160.000 IDR who will drop us at the Adi shop to buy some stamps (no return). That is unnecessary! The staff was also very curious and always wanted to know where we are going. We went to the Warung Amed Paradise because the staff there is much more helpful, friendlier and the food delicious and not so over expensive than in Palm Garden Amed Beachβs Restaurant.

We stayed 4 nights and could have easily stayed longer. The room was large, clean and comfortable. It had a great sea view. There are 2 good sized swimming pools. It was conveniently located, within easy walking distance to a great sunset spot and good snorkelling at Jemeluk Bay. Ying is a great host who organises things efficiently. With breakfast included it's great value.

I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service). What a great post service! With this kind of service, I really recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Thank you Grand Sovereign, Matur Suksma Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL. ππππ

Service was nice, good breakfast buffet in the morning 7-11am. Clean rooms, good WiFi. Easy walking distance and taxi service cheap. Would recommend for cheap price. Fast check in service, very friendly and helpful staff.
