my recent stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing. i paid for a mere four-hour early check-in, only to find a room with a stale, dusty smell. the curtains were poorly installed and came down as soon as i tried to open them, and there were no windows to let in fresh air. the lack of in-room service was inconvenient; i just wanted a cup of tea but was told i’d need to pay for the entire buffet, which was only available in the restaurant on the 6th floor. given that this is supposed to be a mmt recommended hotel, i expected better service, especially for early morning needs. i had an important exam at 8 am and requested breakfast at 7:30 am, but when i arrived, nothing was ready. even a cup of tea was delayed by another half hour. to make matters worse, despite all these issues, the manager asked me to leave a five-star rating at checkout. it was truly frustrating and felt undeserved given my experience. this stay did not live up to five-star standards in any way.
