Sawasdee House Reviews

We stayed at this hotel twice on a recent trip to BKK. Location is great, they have 24hr check in which was great for buses arriving after 1am. The staff are all very helpful. We stayed in different rooms on each occasion: the deluxe twin room and the superior twin room - both were a good size - nice bathrooms. It’s got everything you need - would definitely book again for a night.

The location is convenient for taking a taxi. There is a bar downstairs and no elevator. The price may be due to the summer vacation. The hotel does not provide toothbrushes and towels, only shower gel and shampoo. The overall bed is clean, but the air conditioner is not cleaned very much and there is mold on the edges. The traces may be due to the summer vacation. The price is quite high. If you are staying, you must be careful not to open the glass window of the bathroom. If there are children, be sure not to open it. Be careful to open it up to the knee.

This is a very clean, very inexpensive hotel. Definitely worth it if you're looking to save money.

Cheap hotel in rumbrutti alley. Room was tiny but clean. You get what you pay for.

There is nothing bad to say about the hotel. But nothing really good either.

I went to dinner with my partner, the waiters were very nice but in terms of service they attended us slowly. the calzone we ordered was terrible. At the time of paying they did not want to charge us with a card. At no time did they tell us and it was not marked anywhere .. finally they charged us 3% more than the account to pay by card ..... very bad experience

Food was amazing. We went here to relax on a few nights during our holiday Music was great Loved vegetarian food they offered here Would definitely visit again for great value for money meals. Could sit here and watch the world go passed Loved it

Poor food quality. Its quite hatd to mess up a simple sandwich but sawasdee house make it possible. Neeeeeever again. Thailand has sooo many good restaurants. Avoid this one. In the evening for a deibk but the food is bad and expenaove

This is a back Packers hotel just on the edge of Kao San Road and we enjoyed our visits there. These were only for happy hour drinks but they serve ice cold beer cheaply and serve it with a smile. It is in a lively part of town and lots of backpackers coming and going all the time. They serve cheap and cheerful international and Thai food and it seems very popular indeed. It is extremely well located and seems to have expanded recently.

Stay away. Bad restaurant, bad service. Small portions, not as described on the menu. Very expensive, items on the full breakfast were left out. The produce is of the cheapest possible quality. Would not recommend this place for a starving homeless. Ordered a few items , along with friends: Full breakfast - very cheap ingredients, didn't deliver the coffee until being asked repeatedly. Baguette sandwiche- small and expensive, 140 baht. And is half the size of what is shown on the photon Muesli - 90 baht, children size. Tuna sandwich- average size but expensive. Banana pancakes- small, spongy ,not as shown on the menu no whipped cream. My friends were really disappointed as well, as was I. Half the items on the menu were Missing, so had to order our second or third choices. We asked to speak to the manager, but were told there is no manager present. My only hope is.that smarter travelers would read this review and stay away as humanly possible from this place

We were accomodated in a different hotel, the breakfasts were provided by Sawasdee house. The staff is extremely bored with total lack of motivation. They are not friendly at all, rather frustrated. The taste of omlette was like 1 month old used rapeseed oil. We decided to go for fruits, we considered less risky choice. We had to pay for the coffee, though it should be given as part of the prepayed breakfast - according to the menu. I highly suggest to choose any other restaurants, do not even consider to try Sawasdee house.
