Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok

Silom/Sathon Bangkok|2.47km from Number One Massage

Latest booking 11 hrs ago

I had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!

Stayed in a female dormitory, the space planning idea was really good. The ceiling was high, so I could put more beds in the room, but it was good to make it a five-person room, one shower room, two toilets, and the area where you can put your personal items in a large washroom was spacious and convenient. The space was spacious and comfortable without any cramped feeling, but it would have been better if I had two showers and one toilet. The mattress was good, the private bed space was spacious and the private locker size was large. First of all, the community space on the second floor was stylish and spacious, and the breakfast was clean and good. The staff are so friendly and explain well. The downside is that there is no window in the female dormitory room, and there is a window in the shower and toilet space, so it is a bit poor in the ventilation part. The double room has a window open in the direction of the public space, but it was a bit unfortunate that the female dormitory could make a window enough in the direction of the public space. It was not good in terms of ventilation, so it smelled stinky, so even if you open the door and ventilate it, there was already a bit of a limit. Overall, it looks clean, but there was a cosmetics sample between the mattress and the floor, and there was some hair...I'm wearing shoes in the hostel, but I'm not ventilated. It would be better to cherry blossoms on the floor and barefoot. The air conditioner is baked, but I think I should clean the filter inside.

Cloud 9 Lodge

Pratunam Market
I am not expecting super clean nor super complete rooms in Pratunam area considering this area is very crowded with stores and market activities. This hotel has provide exactly everything we need for the area. Clean bed and bathroom, sufficient towels, free flow mineral water and very reliable fast WiFi access. This could be the most suitable hotel to choose in this area. We saw there are a lot more more 'fancy and luxurious' hotel nearby, however most of them located above very busy and noisy market with knock down stall which may cause unnecessary noisy for your sleep. This area is almost open 24 hours. Cloud 9 just the right choice which located on a quiet corner. This hotel could be hard to find even if you use online map. Try to look for Benz hotel. This cloud 9 is next to it. we will definitely choose this hotel again when we had a chance to visit the area. We do not hesitate to recommend this place to our colleagues and families.

Nice to stay, Comfortable Queen Bed. Water heater is hot and i like it. This hotel don’t have lift, you need to walk up only upper floor to access their Entrance Lobby. It’s same building with Marwin Hotel. 3 mins walk out to main road. 雲吞麵豬腳飯 Sabx2 Wanton just at the corner on the road. 5 mins walk to Platinium Fashion Mall.

The location is great and the price is cheap. Although the interior is a little lacking, there is no separation of dry and wet, and the sound insulation is relatively poor, but the attitude of the service staff is very good and they are very enthusiastic. I will stay again next time I come to Bangkok

Good place to stay. Clean place. You can sleep well because it is very quite inside the room. Very friendly staff and the owner is very helpful. Chatri the owner is very welcoming when I came to the place. I have a lot of questions about a place where I want to go and he's answer everything I want to know. When I check out, he offer also to book for my grab. Highly recommended.

i book this hotel because of its location in pratunam area, very close to the infamous Platinum mall. the hotel itself is a bit hidden in one of the alley of Pratunam. to reach the place, its not directly accessible by car, so you have to drag your luggage about 50m from the alley (not the main road). the hotel share a building with one other hotel (siam best) and a seafood restaurant on the ground floor. good thing they have a working elevator to bring your luggage check in was a breeze, but they will require everyone's passport and security deposit of 1000baht per room. i book the cheapest room, and size was decent as they mentioned in the website. toilet is working well and bed is okay. my negative comments about the stay was, my room is facing a parking lot, which can be noisy at night with car going through steel plates (i assume). other than that i don't have any significant issues for the price i paid. they have a massage place which i'm not sure if its open. and a few vending machines for your snacking needs. the place is about 200m from the infamous sabsab wanton mee, so if you want to be the first queueing, marwin is very close. a lot of shop nearby, very ideal for a shopping trip. will be back for sure, considering the price, location, and services
