GGuest UserThe room is a bit small. But the equipment is complete and the lighting is sufficient. Hot water is enough. At the location, it took 20 minutes to walk to the stupa. The hotel is on the slope of a residential area. The master who hits is looking for about 10 minutes. The breakfast is sufficient, but it is a Western breakfast.

GGuest UserNice, clean rooms, big comfy bed and pillows. Shower was okay. Water did not get hot, lukewarm at best and refrigerator was not cold at all, I almost thought it was broken. Food was good if you stick to Nepali and Indian food options, but lassis were watered down. Drinks were also not cold. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful, but I had two instances that really turned me off. They have a free buffet breakfast, but if you opt to skip it, they call you very early in the morning to ask if you're coming or not. This disturbed my sleep several times until I asked them to stop. Today was also my last day here and although check out is at 3pm, I received a call from reception at 10:30am asking when I'd be leaving. He informed me that a big group would be arriving and told me that the check out time was noon, when it was clearly stated otherwise online. He asked if I'd be staying another night instead as if I was bartering to not be pushed out of my room before check out time, when I was right. I've never had such an experience before and have traveled all over the world. Such a lack of professionalism and tact. That is not how you treat guests at a 4 star hotel. Not recommending this hotel to anyone!

SShuijingWhen we arrived at the hotel, we were told that the room was full, so we booked another hotel nearby. The owner took us to another hotel nearby and helped us with our luggage. The service was very good.

Lleslie714The hotel is very close to the Great White Pagoda and can be reached on foot. The environment is beautiful and quiet in a bustling city. There are morning yoga classes and Buddhist halls for everyone to practice every day. Every day, I feel the sunshine and eat breakfast in the glass room, looking at the beautiful scenery of the swimming pool, which makes me feel relaxed and happy. I had a great time here and will come again next time. I highly recommend it💐🙏

GGuest UserWe spend 4 days at Lavie hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Allthough the road is quite busy, after 10pm the traffic slows down heavily and the traffic noise disappears. We went several times to the early morning walking ceremony around Bouddhanath Stupa which is only a 10min walk from the hotel.
The staff is great and we would like to thank Ms. Dawa in particular for her great support. She helped us to buy tickets for a local music festival and supported my wife when she didn’t feel comfortable. Thanks, Dawa!

YYinduJusyogajiashiyujiaFacilities: This is a new hotel in 2025, the facilities are relatively new, but they are tasteless.
The restaurant is on the top floor, actually on the 6th floor, but the sun is shining brightly in the restaurant and you can overlook Kathmandu, which is very comfortable 😌
The food in the restaurant is delicious! The price is reasonable too!
Environment: There is a road under construction outside the hotel, but it will be completed soon. However, the location of the hotel is good, not far from the Boudhanath Pagoda, about ten to twenty minutes' walk. The hotel is also close to the airport, very convenient.
Hygiene: Clean and sanitary, solar energy ⚡️Convenient for bathing
Service: The service was excellent! Very good attitude! From the boss to the employees, everyone is very nice! My friend forgot his credit card at the front desk when he left, and the boss drove him out! The boss can also help book a car to the airport ~ In short, it's all very good

GGuest UserI liked the warm hospitality but the service could have improved more. Wi-Fi couldn’t get connected the whole night and amenities were not sufficient. Shampoo and body soap are the most essential things that should be available in the room. Overall, it was a good experience and staffs were good.

YYAMTAfter returning from Pokhara and Lumbini, I still choose to live by myself. The staff is friendly, the room is clean and hygienic, and I walked to the Great Buddha Pagoda at night. Excellent value for money. This time the room rate also includes breakfast, everything is very good.

Ddaiyan_****There is a garden and the restaurant is also in the garden. The single bed is a little small but very comfortable. There is a terrace facing the garden. Fortunately, it closes at 8 or 9 in the evening, so it becomes very quiet immediately.

GGuest UserMy stay at this place was excellent. Homestay vibe makes it a special place. Whole family was welcoming, generous and helpful. Room was clean, wifi enabled comfortable bed. Restaurant cum kitchen serves you amazing food. Situated near to stupa so easy to get here. Overall had a great time.
