It was a love apartment with a good-sized double room with its own bathroom, and a twin room was a little small. There wasn't any WiFi for the 3 of our 5 days. There was also no kettle. But the location was amazing just around the la sagrada familia. It was beautiful and would happily stay here again

Stayed in MH Apartment at the end of our trip to Spain. Had 3 night stay and it was perfect amount of time to spend sightseeing Barcelona with 3 children aged 10-15. Apartment itself was nice and spacious, clean and in perfect location just 5 minute walk from the nearest metro station and the impressive Gaudi building that is La Sagreda Familia. There are a number of MH apartments and I would recommend using them. Barcelona tips for families with kids - We did both Montjuic cable car and the Mount Tibidabo funicular and would advise not bothering with the Montjuic one unless you want to pay into Montjuic castle. It was €75 return for us to do Montjuic, very overpriced. The views of the harbour were good but nothing compared to the views from Mount Tibidabo which were amazing. The amusement was shut on the Monday we were there but this suited us as it was missing the usual crowds I'd heard about and there were still 5 rides open with no queue's. We also did the aquarium with my 15 year old son doing the shark cage diving, the instructor brought him out into the aquarium itself which was a real thrill for both him and us watching from inside, amazing experience for him. It was €25 into aquarium for about an hour casual stroll through, however as we paid the €175 for shark experience we got €50 off the aquarium price so well worth the money for him. Foodwise we have fussy eaters so was tough to find a place that suited us all. We did find nice italian called Vapiano on Las Ramblas street, you order at the till and then collect food when its ready. The highlight though was the paella at a restaurant on Barceloneta beach in restaurant called Pez Gordo del Mar, it was right beside a KFC and both had outdoor seating so the 2 of us had a romantic meal of sorts alone while the 3 kids were in KFC in full view of us. The only downside of the trip was the continuing drought in Spain causing the fountains to be shut down so no trip to the magic fountain this time for us, also the Nou camp is closed for renovations so that was another disappoint for the kids but there is so much to see in Barcelona that we quickly got over these disappointments.

Awful stay, so bad that even without the promise of getting our money back we left after one sleepless night. Aircon was broken, balcony door was broken and unsafe, apartment was dated, dirty and not as advertised. To top it all off we were made out to be liars until a repair man confirmed that these things were broken. Customer service has been atrocious, they don’t care about your stay they just want your money! They are also refusing to give us a refund despite us actually having to leave because we felt unsafe and were very unhappy. Avoid at all costs!!!!
