Hotels in El Poble-sec, Barcelona

Great location (close to cruise port and restaurants) and service. Clean room and nice shower except for some peeling on the ceiling. Wifi is good in the lobby but inconsistent in the room. Comfortable bed and quiet room.

The whole view of the hotel is beautiful, and it's even better looking out of the room! The room facilities are also good. The breakfast is especially interesting and is a highlight of the entire trip.

Cute boutique hotel, perfect for a few nights while exploring Barcelona. The location was a 10/10 — it felt like I was right among locals, yet still just minutes from everything like Montjuïc, shops, and cafés. There was no need to drive at all, and it was super convenient being close to the hop-on hop-off bus stops. The lobby was gorgeous and had thoughtful touches like fruit-infused water and coffee, which I appreciated. The hotel also offered free WiFi and standard amenities in the bathroom, including hair dryer and shower products. My only disappointment was with the bedrooms. They felt outdated and not as well-maintained as expected — there were marks on the walls, some worn furniture, and heavy dust. Unfortunately, there was also construction during my stay, which started around 9am each morning and was quite loud, along with the paper thin walls, where you can hear all your neighbours. It may have just been my room, but overall it didn’t fully match the photos. That said, I still had a good experience overall. The staff were friendly, the location was ideal, and I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay. I’d reccomend it!

I booked a twin room with a view outside. The room is large enough to spread the carry bag. It was a little Korean style fashionable room. There is also an air conditioner from FUJITSU in Japan, which works well. I feel that it was also in heating and cooling. I used heating. If it was cold, a blanket was also prepared. You can go from the nearest subway to Sagrada Familia without changing trains! From the airport, you can take the airport bus to the nearest and transfer to the subway. Close to the subway at the exit with stairs, but if you walk about 5 minutes, there is a subway exit with an elevator. The street in front of me was under construction on the ground as of March 2026, and the road was quite narrow. There is a bar right next to it that is doing late at night and it is very exciting, but it sounds like a Ｇ floor, but when you go upstairs, you can't hear it. I slept well at night. Both young children and old people stayed. There is an elevator. You can keep your luggage. The range is not in the lobby, but the staff will lend you. There's hot water and water! Cospa is good, so I recommend it. I booked a twin room with a view of the outside. The room is large enough to expand the carry bag. It was a stylish Korean-style interior. This place was really good, metro and the bus is only a few minutes away, it's open 24-7, so it's perfect, if you want to go out at night, and the street is this beautiful.

Thank you for the excellent stay! The room was clean and comfortable, well-equipped, and the staff were polite and attentive. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting – truly recommendable. It's a pity that I accidentally left something behind when checking out, and although the hotel staff assisted in the search, it wasn't recovered. Despite this, I was deeply moved by the staff's patience, active communication, and proactive approach throughout the process. Their professionalism and sincerity demonstrated their care for guests, and their responsible spirit is truly admirable. Though the outcome was a bit disappointing, I genuinely felt their efforts. Thank you again for your thoughtful service. I will definitely choose this hotel again in the future and continue to recommend this warmth and reliability to my friends.

Our first impression was how clean and well-maintained everything was—from the front desk to the small lounge area, the room, and the bathroom. The bed deserves a special mention—it was exceptionally comfortable, and we had a truly restful sleep. The bathroom, while compact, was dry, hygienic, and well-kept. The shower had strong water pressure and consistently hot water, which we really appreciated. The room also had a heating function in the air conditioner, making our stay warm and pleasant. We were also warmly welcomed by the staff. Although the lady who helped us with check-in and the gentleman at check-out didn’t speak much English, they were both very kind and had such friendly smiles. It made us feel genuinely welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.

The subway station and bus stop are right in front, and you can get to most tourist attractions and Carrefour restaurants directly by subway. The location is really excellent. Although it's located at the end of the Laval district, it's on a main street, and I always traveled by subway, so safety was never an issue. The room was clean, spacious, had a full-length mirror, and the mini-bar was free. The elevator was fast, and I never had to wait. The only minor downsides were that there were no slippers in the room, so you'd need to bring your own, and there were no facial tissues, which was a bit disappointing. I'd love to stay here again next time!

Very nice choice for solo travelers

Friendly service, cleanliness is OK, but it is close to the subway station, and you can clearly hear the noise of the subway at night
