Just returned from 11 nights in a 2 bedroomed apartment (which is like a bungalow), a sofa bed in the lounge area a small kitchen area with everything you need for a short stay (although we ate out each night or had takeaway pizza). Microwave, grill and hob, kettle and fridge with small freezer at the top. There is a bedroom with 2 single beds and a door out to the patio area, a large double bedroom (which does need a full length mirror and the dressing table mirror moving...when you sit at the dressing table you are looking into the tv screen as the mirror is too high) and a bathroom with shower, bidet, toilet and sink...not a lot of space to "put" things in the bathroom but we managed. There are separate pools, hotel guests can access the smaller pool and you can usually get a bed by this pool....although it was getting busier as we left. My kids didn't really use the slides (they are 13 and 17) they were happier playing ball or just chilling in the hotel pool. There are times when the pool gets a bit crowded with large inflatables (some families seem to need a massive crocodile or slice of pizza each!) There was a race each morning for beds by the slides pools as the gates open at 9.30 and these are accessible for the campsite as well as the hotel guests. There is no putting towels down the night before! The areas were clean and well "lifeguarded", the entertainment crew were good for younger kids but the same tunes at the same time each day did get a bit monotonous. The food in the restaurant was good, breakfast is usual hotel breakfast, don't expect a 'full english', there is bacon and eggs, cereals and continental options. We had one meal on an evening too and we all enjoyed it, there are lots of restaurants around the lake within a 5 minute walk, you may need to book as the better ones do get busy. Staff at the hotel are all very helpful and will do all they can to make your holiday a great time. The area is lovely and we did hire a car for 3 days and visited many other places including Verona, Malcesine, Peschiera, Torri del Benaco and Desanzano.
