My family and I stayed here for NYE, mostly as a base to stay while visiting family. The hotel itself is as you might expect from a Premier In - clean, comfortable and functional. The staff were incredible. Super friendly, and always said hello with a smile (despite them having to work on NYE!). The hotel bed was lovely (Premier Inn have AMAZING beds!). The room was a good size and clean however, the soundproofing was quite poor. We were kept awake during the night by the room above walking / jumping around, with really loud thuds. We didn’t report to reception as it was early morning when it started and, I’m not sure there was anything that could be done, as it was just a case of the room above walking around! Nice hotel though, great staff and good breakfast, just a shame about the sound proofing.

We stayed in the premier inn prior to our holiday flying from Cardiff airport . Great stay , easy check inn . Cory at the check in desk was very helpful and informative. Lovely nights sleep . We had breakfast at the Brewers fayre . I would definitely recommend.

Lovely welcome for staying over Christmas. Reception team were very helpful and special mention to Paula from housekeeping who cleaned room 11 and her ‘helper’ 👏👏 Breakfast next door you are advised to pre book when busy. Be sure to visit Craft Republic bar next door.

Not having people in room next door, shutting, swearing, banging doors. From 2 to 5 on Sunday morning. Kept awake for most of the night. Had a word with them and it just kept on for the next hour. Got dressed and made a complaint to night staff. Got comment from premier inn employee " Its Barry on a Saturday Night". My reply " please address the situation or I will call the police. They went to room in question. I went back to bed and woke up later in the morning with hardly any sleep. If any one at premier inn reads this and wishes to provide your feed back to the above comments, I am more than willing to hear your response ?

Room was far to hot and aircon seemed to have been switched off snd no option to open a window. Breakfast was terrible and evening meal even worse. Location was great Plenty of parking on site. Staff were friendly My granddaughter loved the halloween themed reception area.

I'm writing this review as I'm disgusted with how I haven't been dealt with yet. The service from premier inn and higher up staff have been appealing. Myself , my sister and two children were sharing a family room. We had took our bags to the room and headed out for the day. When we got back we had noticed things such as things not been cleaned properly and a juice bottle left under the bed. When I got into the single bed that night I was coming up in rashes and non stop itching. I called down to reception and the man said I can either move rooms or on checkout someone will talk to me about it. We couldn't move all of us at 9.30 when the kids were asleep so I decided to share the double bed with my sister and nephew. In which I wasn't itching in this bed. When I checked out in the morning I raised my concerns because I wasn't asked how my stay was. And all the lady said on check out was thanks for letting me know.... I then did a further complaint as we had spent money for a family night away and 3 of us had to share the bed and was very overwhelmed crowded and the rooms was not clean. I then hear back higher up to have someone say the staff said we had 4 children so they wouldn't refund as overcapacity. They lied. I emailed back and told them to check the cameras and check how many people I paid to have breakfast... It was 4 of us in total not 6. So the staff lied and I have not heard back from this which was August!!! I feel so disrespected that the staff have lied and that's why we can't have any sort of refund. I will not be returning and think whoever has lied needs a talking to! Own up to your mistake.

We left our room on the Sunday morning with a view of returning before check out at Midday to use the facilities. When we went out we did not check out and we took our room keys and left a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. On our return at 11:30am Premier in staff had ignored the Do Not Disturb sign and entered the room and prepared it for the next guest. Our keys still worked and when we complained we were assured that we were welcome to use the room. This was not my point, I thought Do Not Disturb meant DO NOT ENTER, but Clearly Not at this Hotel. Staff clearly come and go as they please so they might as well do away with the signage.

It was a comfortable hotel that was well-kept and secure. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My favourite aspect was it was in walking distance of places I wanted to go, but far enough separate that I wasn’t disturbed by the local night life.
