Brindleys

Beautiful old place located about 20 mins walk to town. Service was good and a nice breakfast. Our room was smallish but beautifully presented on the top floor. Getting bags up was mission. The room was hot! Day and night. Windows opened a bit and we had a fan. It was explained that the heritage listing prevented air conditioning. It was uninhabitable during the day and hard to sleep at night. We did have two quite hot days. I’d recommend this place just not in summer

This was the first time my wife and I had opted to stay in a B&B rather than a hotel. We really had no idea what to expect. We needn’t have worried. We were greeted at the door by Adrian who was charming and immediately accommodating. He put us at rest instantly, answered all our questions and made us feel “at home”. He further provided a map of the area and took time to highlight areas we might like to visit, offered to make reservations on our behalf and suggested the best route to take to get to the city centre, which in truth was barely a ten minute walk. The room was luxurious and comfortable and both my wife and I slept well. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order, with a good variety of choice. The experience has certainly turned out heads away from mainstream hotels and toward a much more personal touch which we got from staying at Brindley’s. We would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

We had a pleasant stay at Brindleys. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and we enjoyed a very delicious Breakfast every morning. we can recommend this nice place, which is so nearby the city! Just a few minutes to walk and you can see the sights.

Brindleys is a hidden gem. The bed was the comfiest, the breakfast was marvellous, the hosts and staff were helpful and friendly. It is very close to the centre but is on a quiet street. There is a beautiful walking path by the canal nearby. We loved our experience and highly recommend it.

What a lovely find literally 10 minutes walk from the City centre. Situated in a delightful corner plot.Super comfy bed and clean room. The breakfasts were fantastic. Our hosts were very attentive. I would recommend this B&B for that perfect City break base.

We had the loveliest 2 night stay at the B&B and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Clean, super cosy room, lovely comfortable bed and a powerful shower is all you need after walking around Bath all day. The building is also very charming. The centre is only a 10 min walk and is super easy to get to. The staff were so friendly and hospitable and Mark was just the sweetest person, greeting us at breakfast and making us feel like home. I would love to stay here again when I come back to Bath. Thank you!

Great location, beautiful character house, comfortable room, huge bed, welcoming hosts, quiet roads, delicious breakfasts and lots of little extras. Close to the canal walks, city walks and lots of advice on restaurants and things to do. No negatives……

We stayed for two nights. Hosts were extremely helpful. We stayed in room 6 and had to climb 3 flights of stairs. As pensioners it was a struggle. This would have been good to note this on there web site. It was explained why they didn’t have a lift due to regulations. Hotel was central and easy walking distance to bath. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and all freshly cooked.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful to get us oriented in Bath. Very easy walk into town. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.
