We absolutely loved our stay here! Booked so we could visit the christmas market and see the sights of Bath. The guesthouse is minutes away from The Abbey and the Roman Baths so perfect location! Our room was clean, had everything we needed, plus lots of little extras which was a nice touch! The staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble, and breakfast was delicious! We'll definitely be visiting again.

Beautiful Bath at Christmas
The hotel is right in the centre of bath which makes it a perfect location for exploring all the sights, shops, bars and restaurants wonderful Bath has to offer.
The service when we arrived was fantastic and we were very lucky to be treated to an upgrade to our lovely room, spotlessly clean with beautiful decor and some lovely finishing touches. We loved our stay at Eight

Strålande inkvartering på en ganska oplanerad vistelse i Bath. Synnerligen professionellt och välkomnande mottagande på detta häftiga hotell mitt i den gamla stadskärnan. Perfekt läge i ett på ett positivt sätt annorlunda rum.

Disappointing
Nice building very central lovely bathroom but small hot room with very large floor standing, noisy and ineffective air conditioner with a large pipe falling out of a big hole in the external wall. Weird. Took ages to connect to the Wifi and then it was completely useless - had to use phone data to work. Would not stay here again.

Best spit in town.
Charming old building next to the oldest house in Bath. Completely refurbished with a nice bathroom. Excellent and helpful staff.

Excellent friendly service. Rooms, breakfast room and bar very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious. Beautiful small hotel. The private bar is a lovely touch which we made use of as Bath was very busy with the Christmas markets. The location is so central that you can easily walk anywhere and are right in the hustle and bustle of this beautiful city. They provide earplugs. My husband didn’t need them but I did. It’s a shame they couldn’t put double-glazing over the windows (maybe because it’s a period property). Bath looked beautiful with Christmas lights everywhere. So many restaurants to choose from. It was very helpful to receive restaurant recommendations from Eight just before we arrived. It was a nice touch to have a Christmas cracker and card on our bed on arrival and chocolates the next day. The tea tray in the room was well stocked. Overall a fantastic location and very well run boutique hotel. Couple of suggestions are to include choice of having sourdough bread at breakfast. Also two coat hooks in side door of room 17. The long rug was a bit slippy on the wooden floor.
