My intended booking was at splendid hotel in lugano but once I went there I realised that it was at baveno 😅 ,so I took a taxi for 350 euro to go there . The front desk upgraded my rooms to lake views for 80 euro/night. The gym is for 12 euro /person, the breakfast is about average nothing special. The front desk are nice people but they put an extra service charge for that(optional). The view from the balcony was beautiful.

Hotel is a decent value. Old school oppulent rooms. Service is typical Italian: nice, but they will try to cheat you. We ate at the hotel restaurant. They did not provide us with the bill, neither at the restaurant nor when we checked out. Only after I asked, they showed it to me. They overcharged us on the desert and charged us tips as well. They also added "gratuity" to the overall room. We had booked the beauty package (which they generously comped us), but did not tell us that the sauna would be closed for cleaning. They do have a tennis court, which is very nicely situated, but dilapitated.

Joli hotel, mais tout est en supplément
Personnel disponible et souriant, belle infrastructure (propre, entretenue...). En revanche, hotel choisi car avec une belle salle de sport qui se révèle être en supplément (information pas notée dans la description de l'hotel, alors que pour le parking ou le petit dejeuner c'est très clair). J'aurais eu cette information je n'aurais pas choisi cet hotel, en privilégiant une position plus strategique et moins excentrée (compromis que j'étais disposée à accepter pour la salle). Joli cadre mais il manque juste qu'on demande un supplement pour respirer aussi. Vraiment déçue des services.

Hôtel 4 étoiles, mais pas de cafetière, pas de peignoir, pas de chaussons, pas de Kleenex, matelas très fermes, restaurant très moyen. Par contre le breakfast est excellent et le personnel aimable. Garage obligatoire à 20 €/nuit.

En del støj fra trafikken Fra vejen som lå meget tæt på hotellet.
Plastik græs, plastik buske i krukker, plastik udendørs møbler. I meget varme lugter det af plastisk og plastik græs er meget varmt og ubehageligt at gå på.
Koster ekstra at bruge trænings rummet og bilparkering.
Drikkepenge til personalet på 1600 kr blev lagt automatisk på regeringen ved udtjekning.
Jeg vil ikke anbefale til at at komme og jeg ønsker ikke at komme tilbage. Det var ikke pengene værd.
