Hotels near Russell Park in Bedford

I really enjoyed staying here with my work, I have stayed before but since the renovations the hotel really is beautiful now. I used the restaurant too and the food was great, the setting peaceful and the staff very good. I was served by someone called Candice (I think that was her name who was excellent). I have attached some photos of the food. Also if you’re away with work and also a cyclist, try and take your bike too as there are some lovely early morning river paths to cycle which start just outside the hotel. Perfect!

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel. We were a family of 3 and shared a room. The staff were very welcoming and efficient on the front desk when we checked in. Once in the room we were very pleasantly surprised to see how good the pull out bed was for my eldest son. In fact it was a double sofa bed. It was very sturdy and had a very decent mattress on it ( unlike other top rated hotels we have stayed at ). The room was clean and had everything you might need , including iron and ironing board as standard. Breakfast was a tasty affair and staff were constantly replenishing items as they ran down. All staff very friendly and overall a great stay for a super price. Will definitely stay here again when we are visiting family again.

Great staff and lovely comfy room with nice extra amenities for my All Accor level. Breakfast also great. Couple of issues- ( very old) safe in room did not work. Also nail clippings on carpet! Hermis from front desk did a brilliant job of emergency hovering. Mehar also kindly gave me a late check out.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for 2 nights commencing 25 Aug. The hotel was only 5 minutes from the M1, couldn’t have been more convenient. There was ample car parking space. The staff were lovely, really helpful. We had a quiet room, very large and well appointed. We ate in the restaurant both nights, the food was perfectly ok. We shared a pizza on our second night, nobody raised any objection to that. There is lots to do in the surrounding area, including Althorp, where Princess Diana was buried. At £126 per night, B&B, we thought it was outstanding value for money. We would certainly stay there again.

Thank you so much for our Sunrise hideaway spa weekend,it was awesome from start to finish. I would just like to say how amazing the weekend break was, we really appreciated it and needed it,to destress. Being carer's we tend to ignore our own needs and concentrate on our loved ones. My daughter-in-law and I arrived on Sunday afternoon. Firstly, I must say, the decor of the Hotel looked calming & luxurious. The bedroom was really Luxurious & Spacious, with a mini bar super king comfortable bed and a little hand written card welcoming us with some chocolate's,a lovely personal touch. The Firepit restaurant felt very calming and relaxing with a great low music in the background to add to the atmosphere. The view out the large glass windows were stunning, the lake had a water fountain lite up, which was beautiful to watch. We really enjoyed our lovely dinner & Sweet. They even have a robot that serve's you dinner. We both had a lovely night sleep in the very large comfy deluxe superking bed. There was a great selection for Breakfast, which set us up for the day. We then went into the spa. The changing rooms where Clean & Fresh. All the facilities were great and we tried them all out. Steam room, sauna,salt room,chill out ice room.There are heated water beds and egg chairs inside the Quiet Area, which are so comfortable next to a fire. The pool was just perfect with bubbled jacuzzi and taps that massaged your back when you stood under them. A new bar at the side of the pool with waitress service. Loungers all around with heaters and blankets for if it's a little chilly. The temperature of the pool was hot and steaming which was lovley as it is October and a little chilly. I booked a back massage as i felt tight in my shoulders and in some pain. Clare the masseuse,gave me a very firm massage and was very good, the pressure was just right and she gave me a lot of tips on how to strengthen my back and relax my muscles, she was brilliant. The staff at the hotel were very attentive & Helpful. I will be returning, hopfully when Father Christmas brings me another spa package.

I was a bit concerned having read recent reviews! But found all 3 rooms we booked to be clean, comfortable and everything you would expect from a travelodge. My only minor criticism is the wait at reception for a staff member to come out to check us in - we saw other people waiting also during our stay. Otherwise, good value for money.

Located on the Cranfield University campus, this is an excellent, well planned, cleaned facility. I was impressed by the attention to detail. Stayed here for family function and had three rooms Staff were really helpful and friendly and gave us adjoining rooms in the extension. These rooms appeared new and were in excellent condition Three minor points The hotel was very busy being half term and the staff were so busy checking in guests that service at the bar was unavoidably slow in the late afternoon The car park is quite large but the harvester opposite is so busy when we got back we had to park at the far end which if you had luggage would be inconvenient.I was able to move the car in the morning Lastly like all expresses the breakfast quality is something of a lottery.on this occasion the coffee were better than usual express standard but bacon and egg were disappointing Generally however well above average for this brand
