The hotel's location is fantastic, right by Qiaogang Beach. It's super close to Qiaogang Style Street, so every evening we just rented a scooter from right outside the hotel to grab some snacks. The beds were really comfortable too. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beihai.

The price of 1200 per night during Chinese New Year isn't worth it, but if you come during off-peak times, this hotel's facilities and location are quite good compared to a B&B. They have a partnership with an electric scooter rental company, so it's very convenient to rent a scooter to go to Qiaogang. The only minor drawback was a slight new renovation smell in the room, so I'd recommend that guests sensitive to odors communicate this in advance to arrange a room that has been aired out longer.

However, when I returned from Weizhou Island, my car was still parked for free in the hotel's parking lot. The hotel staff kindly arranged two complimentary vehicles to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel to retrieve my car. Their attitude was excellent, and the service was truly outstanding. We also had three large pieces of luggage to ship and were in a hurry. We left them at the main entrance, informed the hotel, and they arranged for SF Express to ship them for us.
