It's a pity that the weather was not good when we came, and the sea was blocked by fog, otherwise we could see the sea from our house. Will come again soon! This hotel is perfect for gathering with friends! Silver Beach is nearby. There are electric bicycles for rent downstairs for 15-20 yuan, and luggage storage for 10-15 yuan. There are also convenience stores and restaurants, which is very convenient. There are also many restaurants nearby. It is recommended to buy water before going to Silver Beach. There is a milk tea there that is undrinkable and powdery. Moreover, the water in the scenic area is more expensive. If you go to play in the water, the shower room there seems to be 20 yuan/person. The watermelon smoothie in the picture, the powdery one is just for show. 😶 It should take more than 30 minutes to ride to Jintan (I forgot The last picture is at dusk at Golden Beach. Please pay attention to the weather when coming to Beihai!

The apartment-style layout feels cozy and comfortable. There are many dining options nearby, especially places to eat seafood. Free parking is a plus for those driving. The front desk service was enthusiastic; after checking in, they specifically escorted us to our room. We needed to get a temporary ID, and the front desk even helped us by providing information about the nearest police station and sending the location. When checking out early in the morning, the young lady at the desk even said, ”Please be careful on your travels,” which was very heartwarming. Overall, the experience was great, and it offers excellent value for money.

Right outside the hotel is Qiaogang Style Street, with a ton of dessert shops lining the streets – the location is absolutely fantastic. The room design has that trendy, 'Instagrammable' vibe, perfect for taking great photos. The mattress is thick with excellent rebound, ensuring a superb sleep experience. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and welcoming; they're not just your concierge but also a walking map. For foodies, this place is simply heaven.

As a huge hotel enthusiast who has stayed at numerous high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, this stay at Song Hotel was once again a pleasant surprise, exceeding my expectations. Initially, the hotel's color scheme seemed a bit odd, but I later learned it was the color of the sunset glow on the old buildings. This nostalgic and genuine warmth permeated every aspect of the hotel's service. Because the hotel was still in its soft opening phase, I was upgraded to a suite! I was overjoyed. 🛏️ Suite Experience Over 100 square meters. The suite included an indoor soaking tub and swimming pool. The color scheme was simple and elegant—a combination of off-white, light brown, and dark wood tones, instantly creating a relaxing atmosphere. The view from the window overlooked the Silver Beach! The room amenities were top-of-the-line, from bedding to toiletries, with attention to detail everywhere. 🍽️ Dining Stunning Completely unlike anything I'd expected from a third-tier city. The selection of breakfast items was simply unbelievable for a city like this. Makana Bakery, located in the bakery, offers locally inspired bread innovations—Guangxi Liubao Tea Croissant, Pandan Coconut Croissant, Lychee Sea Salt Croissant—bringing local flavors and French baking techniques together beautifully, rivaling boutique bakeries in first-tier cities. I tried the coffee shop, Chinese restaurant, and ice cream shop one by one, and each exceeded my expectations. The hotel dedicated significant space to local cultural exhibitions. As a keen citywalker, I was exhausted from exploring Beihai's old streets and various seaside areas, but surprisingly, the most insightful experience of the city came from the hotel's exhibition hall 🤣 The curation was excellent. The curatorial text and style were tasteful. It wasn't just a perfunctory display of folk customs, but a genuine exploration of the city's historical context and way of life—from maritime culture to the memories of the Tanka people, from the old street fabric to the evolution of contemporary Beihai. It was also a photogenic spot. Another feature of the hotel is the inclusion of a collection space showcasing several high-quality niche brands. From luxury lifestyle products to carefully selected souvenirs, everything was practical, stylish, and imbued with Beihai's essence. These brands offer excellent taste and value for money. Although I also visited other places and tried several hotels, I felt that this hotel was enough for my trip to Beihai. I could relax, enjoy the sea view, shop, and eat to my heart's content. Finally, let me talk about the service. It wasn't the professional hotel service I'd expected. Having stayed in top-tier hotels, I understand the natural and welcoming atmosphere of a butler. But perhaps because it had just opened, many people's eyes held a touch of naivety and unfamiliarity. They were cautious yet attentive, which was especially endearing. That simple, unfamiliar sincerity was touching. You could see their dedication. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I've stayed in countless great hotels. This is the first time I've written such a thoughtful review. Because this place is more than just a hotel; it allowed me to rediscover Beihai. It also solved the pain points of traveling in a third- or fourth-tier city regarding dining, service, and the aesthetics and practicality of souvenirs (and the value for money was excellent). This wasn't just a place to stay; it was a key to understanding Beihai and a haven for my short stay.

The pool in the complex was closed, and the playground was tiny. The concept of the facilities on the elevated floor was great, but they were effectively just for show. With only two elevators per building, they were nowhere near enough during peak season. It's about a ten-minute walk to Silver Beach and half an hour to the market. There are convenience stores and restaurants in the complex's shops, so daily life is quite convenient. There were cockroaches in the apartment, but I guess that's hard to avoid in southern cities.

The hotel is very close to Silver Beach, right at the entrance of Silver Beach, within walking distance, and there is a restaurant on the first floor. It is not far to take a taxi to Qiaogang Food Street. The room facilities are complete, there is an elevator, and the hotel front desk service attitude is very good.

The hotel also has a laundry room and an outdoor seating area, which was a nice touch. Cookies and candies are also available in the lobby. The infinity pool is beautiful and the water is clean. I was very satisfied with my stay and would stay here again.

It's also a moderate distance from Qiaogang Style Street and Silver Beach, making it easy to get around for sightseeing and dining. The front desk staff were responsive and efficient. The public laundry room was a real lifesaver for a family enjoying the beach, making it easy to wash and dry clothes. Overall, it offers good value for money and is highly recommended for family trips.

Just checked into the Holiday Inn Express, and it's been an amazing experience! The location is fantastic, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, plus excellent transportation links. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The service was absolutely top-notch; the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and tasted great too. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

This time, I traveled with my family all the way from Suzhou to Beihai. To be honest, Beihai was the core destination of our trip, and we planned to stay there for 3-4 nights. The Marriott was highly recommended and ranked as the number one resort hotel in the area. However, after staying there, I felt that despite its sea view location, many of the accompanying services were lacking. For instance, when we went to the restaurant, no one guided us to a table; we had to find one ourselves. Also, clearing dishes wasn't very prompt; in fact, on the second day, no one cleared them at all, even after we finished eating. Additionally, the fish tank was broken, and despite reporting it twice, it was never fixed by the time we checked out. Other than that, everything else was fine, and the hotel had a full schedule of activities for children every day. I just feel that for the amount of money I spent at this hotel, the overall service and amenities didn't meet my expectations. Some basic things weren't even done. So, for those who haven't been or are considering this as an option, my advice is: if you're not particularly bothered about a direct sea view, there's no need to book this kind of hotel. You can easily book a mid-range hotel like a Hanting or Atour about 2-3 kilometers away. I think they are more standardized, and you can even wash kids' clothes there. Most importantly, those hotels aren't too far from the beach; you can just rent a small electric scooter and ride over in no time, as Beihai isn't that big anyway.
