Hotels in Silver Beach (Silver Beach Bath&Beach Park), Beihai

The room was clean and well-equipped, with a floor-to-ceiling window offering a beautiful sea view. The front desk staff was super enthusiastic, even giving us a small gift and patiently recommending nearby attractions and restaurants. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Silver Beach, and you can borrow free sand-digging tools for kids from the front desk. The hotel breakfast was also quite varied. We stayed for two nights and had a great experience overall!

First, the advantages: Firstly, the hotel has a great location, with a bus stop right outside and a five-minute walk to Silver Beach. Secondly, the front desk staff were warm and patient, especially the young man surnamed Pang, who escorted me to my room after check-in. He also provided a lot of assistance, such as travel tips, transportation, and dining advice. Additionally, there's a large open space in front of the hotel, large enough for long-distance running, roughly the size of several football fields. The hotel lobby is spacious, bright, beautiful, and comfortable. Now for the disadvantages: Firstly, I couldn't find the way to the hotel. I could see it from afar, but I had no idea how to get there! There were no signs, and I had to squeeze through bushes to get in! The directions given to me by the front desk involved walking through flowerpots, as shown in the photos below. Furthermore, the breakfast in the restaurant was poor, and the staff were rude. They were aggressive while working in the kitchen or coming out to order extra food; I thought there was a robbery going on. However, the day before, a young woman from Qinghai at the restaurant was incredibly kind to the guests. She patiently shared travel tips, helped us cook noodles, and was very talkative, leaving me with the best impression of my trip to Beihai. Finally, let me talk about the restroom facilities. The showerhead sputtered water haphazardly from the hose connection, and the water temperature was unstable, fluctuating between hot and cold. The faucet was just a thin sheet of metal, uncomfortable to handle. The sink drain had no plug, and the seams of the countertop were covered in black mold, which looked disgusting. Also, the elevator carpet was filthy, and the adhesive residue and stains on the elevator car were truly unsightly.

Right outside the hotel is Qiaogang Style Street, with a ton of dessert shops lining the streets – the location is absolutely fantastic. The room design has that trendy, 'Instagrammable' vibe, perfect for taking great photos. The mattress is thick with excellent rebound, ensuring a superb sleep experience. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and welcoming; they're not just your concierge but also a walking map. For foodies, this place is simply heaven.

I didn't have high expectations for this B&B, but the reviews were good, so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I got out of the car and entered the main gate, I felt that the outdoor lounge area was quite comfortable. The front desk added me on WeChat and told me to send messages directly in the group if I had any issues. Upon entering the room, I was a little surprised to see the smart appliances inside. A few minutes later, I received tips for traveling in Beihai and introductions to tourist attractions and local delicacies via WeChat. This was the first time I'd encountered such service during my travels, and it was a pleasant surprise. The bedding was very new, the TV was large, and the environment was clean. Since I wasn't feeling well and didn't want to eat greasy food outside, there's a restaurant there where a 'Sichuan tough guy' chef can cook dishes according to your requests. The final surprise was breakfast (photos attached). Who would have thought that a big Sichuan man could prepare such an exquisite breakfast set? It's so charming! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and it exceeded my expectations. Hope they continue to maintain the quality! 👍

During peak seasons like holidays and weekends, it's advisable to plan ahead as prices will be more reasonable; last-minute bookings tend to be more expensive and subject to price fluctuations. ✨Environment: The hotel is right by Silver Beach, with a private walkway directly to the sand and convenient foot-washing stations at the entrance. The landscaping creates a wonderful seaside ambiance, and the outdoor pool faces the ocean directly. Our room on the 15th floor to the east offered expansive balcony views, though it could be quite windy by the sea. 🧼Hygiene: The hotel generally maintains Marriott's high standards. Housekeeping was meticulous, the bedding was clean and fluffy, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Cleaning in the public pools and lounge areas was prompt. 🛎️Service: Most staff members were proactive and polite, with quick responses from concierge and front desk. Check-in on Friday evening at 5 PM was a bit slow, taking about an hour, but check-out was efficient. The breakfast selection was standard, and the dining environment was decent. 🛏️Facilities: The hotel is relatively new, with excellent quality hardware. The rooms are well-equipped, and the indoor and outdoor pools, 24-hour gym, and kids' club make it perfect for vacations and families. 🚗Transportation: Located in the heart of Silver Beach, the back entrance provides very convenient access to the beach. It's a short drive to Qiaogang and the International Passenger Port for trips to Weizhou Island. Getting to the high-speed rail station or Fucheng Airport takes about 20-30 minutes. Taxis are easily available right outside the hotel. Overall, it's a hassle-free and consistently high-quality choice for a Silver Beach vacation, ideal for travelers who want to relax and enjoy sea views right outside their door. I recommend booking in advance for better prices, as last-minute bookings are pricier and prone to fluctuations. It's worth comparing prices across different platforms.

Within walking distance of Silver Beach, making it very convenient to get around. The high-floor view is expansive, and the room is quite spacious, clean, and tidy, with complete amenities. The apartment-style layout feels cozy and comfortable. There are many dining options nearby, especially places to eat seafood. Free parking is a plus for those driving. The front desk service was enthusiastic; after checking in, they specifically escorted us to our room. We needed to get a temporary ID, and the front desk even helped us by providing information about the nearest police station and sending the location. When checking out early in the morning, the young lady at the desk even said, ”Please be careful on your travels,” which was very heartwarming. Overall, the experience was great, and it offers excellent value for money.

Extremely clean and tidy! The lobby, restaurant, and rooms are all very spacious. The buffet breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully served until 10:30 AM 😭. It's very close to Silver Beach, and you can see the sea right from the hotel window. There's a foot-rinsing station conveniently located at the beach exit. The hotel boasts both indoor and outdoor pools. The staff were all so gentle and patient. Both days we stayed in Beihai, it rained during the day, but we still had plenty to do and enjoy within the hotel. Excellent value for money!

I played in Beihai for several days. I chose this homestay by the sea. It takes only two or three minutes to walk to the beach. The boss also upgraded the sea view room. The view is absolutely perfect. 🤩 Can you directly go to the Shanghai view room? 🤩 In general, the scenery is beautiful. There are seafood stalls downstairs. The evaluation volume is very good. The front desk service is very warm, the hotel's just opened health environment is very clean in all aspects, it is recommended

This beachfront resort is perfect for families with kids! Nanyi, our butler, was incredibly responsive and always ready to help with any issues. The hotel has three well-distributed swimming pools, making it the only hotel in Beihai with so many. The rooftop pool offers stunning ocean views. The adorable and gentle animals in the pet park were a hit, and the 24-hour self-service laundry room was a lifesaver for tackling piles of dirty clothes when traveling with children. Overall, a great experience.

It's very nice little hotel. Staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. Room was modern and stylish with a comfortable bed. nice simple breakfast in the morning including eggs, noodles, fruit, bread, dumpling, etc. They have tea, milk and coffee, which is nice. the rooftop pool is big and clean with a view of the beach. the location is quite good, short walk to the beach, many seafood restaurants and cafes around the hotel, and also close to a mall that has a ton of restaurants, mostly on the 4th floor. close to the high speed rail station and also to old street, downtown, and other attractions.
