Having stayed in numerous hotels both domestically and internationally, the Shangri-La Beihai stands out as the best experience we've ever had. Right behind the hotel is Golden Beach, perfect for stunning sunset views, and if the tide is right, you can even go clam digging. Our dedicated butler, Lily, provided excellent service throughout our stay, promptly assisting with both travel inquiries and daily needs. Last night, during afternoon tea, my husband, who has sensitive teeth, was kindly offered a bowl of very soft noodles specially prepared by Lily. The attention to detail in their service is truly impressive. This hotel is ideal for both short trips and relaxing getaways. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to coming back!

The room was very clean, well-equipped, and spotless, with a cozy atmosphere. The front desk service was attentive. One suggestion: for a family of three, there should be at least three bottles of mineral water. Bottled water costs less than one yuan in bulk. It's not like we can go a long way to buy water. We're not staying at a hotel to earn a few extra bottles of water. We'll leave any unfinished drinks in the room. Asking the front desk staff for water was a bit awkward. I hope they can be more generous.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with a full range of amenities. It's right by the sea, offering great views and a lovely environment. Both indoor and outdoor pools are available, along with plenty of fitness equipment and activities, making it perfect for families with kids. The dining options are also extensive.

Just near Beihai Old Street! There are also very good sugar water shops on the road, but it will not be particularly noisy! The hotel is very new, and the facilities are particularly new, the washing machine and dryer are very good, and you can see the time. Breakfast is also very good! We chose the 'Wave Seaview' room, which features floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony, offering an instant view of the ocean. The hotel facilities are also comprehensive and modern, including a constant-temperature hot tub, a dryer, and smart home features (the large smart TV was a lifesaver for putting the kids to sleep – they’d just watch it and drift off 🤣). Service: The butler service was superb! With a team of 10 butlers, all our requests and issues were addressed promptly. It's perfectly suited for families with both elderly members and young children. Every day, there was afternoon tea and a 'goodnight stew,' along with airport/station pick-up and drop-off services. They also arranged activities like clam digging and sea fishing, and even provided a farewell gift upon departure! Location: It’s located in the Golden Beach area, not far from the old town and very close to the Oceanarium. A night market is right downstairs, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find various local food stalls. It's a bit further from Silver Beach, but a taxi ride takes about half an hour, so transportation is convenient! Especially noteworthy is the complimentary travel photography service. They collaborate with Yuexiang Travel Photography. The photographer was excellent at capturing moments and kept us in a great mood throughout, leaving us with beautiful memories of our family of five. After the first day's shoot, we immediately booked another session for Silver Beach the next day. The photographer arrived on time and even waited a bit for us. Since we had seniors and kids and didn't want to overexert ourselves, she encouraged us to play naturally while she took photos. We were extremely happy with the pictures!

I stayed on the 12th floor. The auntie was very considerate. The service staff on the first floor had a very good attitude. They upgraded the room type for free, sent a breakfast, and sent toiletries for children. It was a very good experience. This is the center of Beihai, and it is very convenient to order takeout. It is very quiet at night and the view is very good.

This Meihua Lizhi Hotel is truly a hidden gem! The price is affordable, but the accommodation experience is top-notch. The room was spotless and odor-free, and the bed was very comfortable – definitely worth the price. The hotel facilities are also new and easy to use. What I appreciated most was the service. The receptionist, Lele, was incredibly kind and proactively offered to help us call a taxi or recommend nearby attractions, making us feel like friends. The breakfast was also quite plentiful, fresh, and healthy. Booking this hotel was a real bargain! For a traveler like me who prioritizes value for money, this is definitely the top choice, and I'll definitely stay here again!

This hotel was the best value for money among all the hotels we stayed at during our trip. The breakfast spread was excellent, catering to the needs of seniors, children, and young adults alike. We stayed at the hotel on November 15. The proprietress was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help us introduce the tourist attractions in Beihai. Because we were busy, we forgot the charger on the medical device. It took about a week to think of falling in the hotel. Contact the proprietress immediately.
