Beijing Huairou District 4-star Hotels

What a delightful little oasis the Brickyard Retreat is! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in a Classic Twin room. We really enjoyed the food at the restaurant. The breakfast was incredible!! I also had a lovely massage at the spa. The shuttle bus to the wall was very convenient. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a nice getaway at the wall. All service was impeccable. Any small request was carried out efficiently. I hope to have the opportunity to return some day!

My experience was okay. The epidemic restrictions are what caused a lot of disappointments. The manager was helpful and friendly. He tried his best to keep us comfortable. I found the Thailand style rooms pretty comfortable. However more needs to be done to keep the outside table and chairs clean and tidy. The scenery around is beautiful and tranquil. During the epidemic all food is served on paper and plastic cutlery which did take away from a good eating experience. They have beautiful lounges and seating area’s indoors that are well decorated but we couldn’t sit inside due to the epidemic! So most meals were eaten outdoors in the cold. There are some tourist activities around such as climbing the Great Wall, horse riding and go-carting. However, many of these places are not in full operation right now. Also, there are many restaurants around if you search well. Overall I think the place is good but best to return when there are no covid restrictions!

The hotel environment is very good, the air is fresh, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and the service is very good. I stayed for two nights in a row. Zhang Meiying cleaned the guest room very seriously. There is unlimited hot spring. You can have barbecue and hot pot in the small courtyard. I will come here often in the future. The hotel has lots of kittens and small animals that the kids love. There are many scenic spots around, including Qinglong Gorge, Yanqi Lake, and Hongluo Temple.

This is my second time staying at this B&B. After booking the hotel, the management immediately started a WeChat group. The butler was very responsible and responded very quickly. When I parked my car in the parking lot above the B&B, the butler started the electric car. Tricycles came to help carry luggage, and the children also experienced the feeling of riding a three-wheeled Mercedes-Benz. The room is very nice. There is a public area where you can chat together. There are also arcade machines, billiards, mahjong machines and slides for children in the 1980s. Although spring has begun, it is still very cold in the mountains at night, but the room is very warm with air conditioning and floor heating. There is also a hot spring. After a tiring day, you can soak in the hot spring and relax. It is very comfortable! The breakfast is very rich, including millet porridge, steamed rolls made by the chef himself, boiled eggs, boiled corn and a few small cold dishes, perfect combination! I particularly recommend the braised pig face made by the chef, which is full of color, aroma and taste. However, this must be booked in advance. The chef said that it takes a long time to make this. The braised stick bones with pickled cabbage in a firewood pot are also worth recommending. You can also barbecue in the small courtyard. You can order it in the store or bring your own ingredients. The small courtyard has simple seasonings, charcoal, and stoves. This is my second time staying at Guoran Xiaozhu. It gives me a different experience every time. Next time I come to Huairou, I will choose our Xiaozhu as always. It feels like home. I give it 5 stars and wish the boss a prosperous business. !

Our stay at Sansa was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left we were taken care of with a lot of attention to detail. Rooms were spacious and neat, with a lot of daylight ( big windows everywhere). When you open the curtains you can see the green trees through, you’re feeling very close to nature, like the trees are in the room. The room is surrounded one side by a huge terrace giving you all the space again to enjoy the outdoor, drink wine outside or just relax. Our room had a view on the Great Wall and a viewpoint for the sleeping Buddha which was lovely. Amenities were on point and complete, towels and everything were very clean. We had a welcome fruit platter which was nice. We tried the Vietnamese restaurant downstairs, everything was super fresh, the fish was delish! A must try! It was a little cold at night - October temperature start to drop a little, that dish was just perfect feeling homely, warm, comforting & slightly heavenly 😁. Staff is super discreet and very hospitable, very fast to respond our questions and accommodating all the way. The location of the property is close to Beigou village and the Great Wall, you can easily go for a little hike or go for a stroll to the village. There are a few cafe around. Breakfast was very varied offering western & Chinese options, good selection. All in all we are very happy with our stay. Will definitely come back again!

The hotel is at the entrance of Dingxiu Meiquan Town, with a circular island fountain at the entrance. The hotel as a whole is in a European style with a sense of age. I don't know if it is to pursue this style, the hotel lobby and rooms are darker in color and smaller in size. The room is basically adequate, but the bathroom is slightly smaller. The hotel staff was nice. Not many kinds of breakfast, more general. The area of the restaurant is not large, and the breakfast is very messy when there are many people. But now you can dine outside and it feels better and less crowded.

Hope the service can be more professional. I really hope that such a good place, hardware, can operate well and business is getting better and better. It is unlikely to live a second time.

It was my first time to stay skiing with my children. I booked it on Ctrip. The beauty at the front desk upgraded me to a parent-child suite for free. There were various cartoons in the room, a small slide tent, etc. The toiletries were new and clean, and the room was warm and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has many varieties and the service attitude is good. All in all, the price/performance ratio is very good and the accommodation experience is great. Will definitely come again next time.

This is great hotel and convenient if you want to see the Mutianyu side of great wall of China. Cable care and ropeway are good. You also do get hotel discount of 20 RMB. In 120 RMB you can be on top of wall and can go towards South to see the beautiful beast in lenght. Hotel staff is very helpful. Hotel is Child friendly as well. Please check for the correct room to have better experience.

The environment of the hotel is good, with a large lawn in front and an activity lawn in the backyard. The campfire and jungle off-roading are all in the backyard. Saw lawn weddings both days over the weekend. The atmosphere of parent-child activities is very good, especially the activities of group cooperation. Good friends were made in the hand throwing activities. The atmosphere of the bonfire party and the small temple fair was high. Both adults and children were happy. Jungle Leap challenged the courage of the children. Everyone in the auction If you get the toy you want, be happy and don't want it! If you are looking for a place rich in parent-child activities, Cass Valley is highly recommended! One-price all-inclusive is also more worry-free.
