偶遇左庭上院是一種無意又似有意，在一眾酒店中無意看到這家酒店，點進去瀏覽，很特別，進而抱着體驗的心態訂了這間酒店。從機場打車過來，被司機丟在離酒店很遠的小巷，彎彎繞繞總算進了酒店，在累且困的狀態下辦理了入住，沒顧上細細品味，直到進了房間才感到一切都很值得，一間庭院隔絕了外面的喧囂，素雅一詞難概全貌，一切的用品和設計都透着精緻和用心。第二天適逢下雨，故而放棄外出的打算，泡一壺茶，倚窗聽雨，隨手抽了一本【左庭上院】，細細品讀，找到了心靈長久以來尋尋覓覓的契合，純真而美好，就如書中一段話：“故人之間會有超越語言的默契，在推開這間房間的剎那，花開四野，無聲勝有聲。”鬧市中還有一處世外桃源！

大床間，得爬到床頭，因為兩邊留的空間無法行走。感應式拉嘰桶不工作，每每去廁所用拉嘰桶。給的瓶裝水短胖，無法帶出門。海棉牙刷，不知道為什麼要訂這種無齒齒的牙具。總之，很多華而不實，價格高，很不值。地址也是個痛，在前門大柵欄，得繞道去古宮，廣場，國博。三倍時間。
