Location is excellent, between 2 metro stations and one of the metro stations is also an airport express station. Stayed one night here and arrived late, but there are food options even around 12am. There are also breakfast options and cafes around. Hotel itself is quite ok, just note that it is about 100-200m in from the main road, so walking into the hutong at night maybe a bit scary. Service is ok, as I've stayed only one night, not much to comment on. Room is fine, small but sufficient for a solo traveller. No gym at this hotel. I booked this hotel last minute, so the price may be somewhat elevated, but overall was a good stay.

I stayed in Beijing for a day during transit and found this hotel by accident. It has a great location in Nanluoguxiang, which is very convenient for strolling and eating nearby. The hotel environment is very clean and tidy, the staff are very enthusiastic in service, and they even helped me upgrade the room type after I checked in. It was also very quiet to rest at night. The hotel lobby is also very beautiful, with cultural and creative products and art exhibitions. It is worth recommending and I will stay here again if I have the chance.
[Landmark of Ancient Capital] It is located in the middle section of Baochao Hutong in Dongcheng District. Baochao Hutong can be traced back to the Dayuan Dynasty, which is equivalent to the Banknote Reversal Department of the Central Bank. It has a history of more than 700 years and is a representative of the long-standing Hutong culture in old Beijing. The hotel is located in the center of the old Beijing Hutong Tour, adjacent to the Drum Tower, Nanluoguxiang, Houhai, Lama Temple, Guozijian, Jingshan Park and other attractions, and it is also very convenient to Tiananmen Square of the Forbidden City.[Landscape Mansion] The predecessor of the hotel was the mansion of Ren Zan, a third-rank military officer in the Qing Dynasty, with a history of nearly 300 years. This is a standard two-entry quadrangle courtyard building. The gate tower is upside down with a drum-shaped stone, the moon gate in the main wing room, and golden silk jujube and wisteria flowers. All the elements that should be found in the old Beijing courtyard are here. For many years, the Unnamed Courtyard has been a scenic spot for hutong tourists to visit the courtyard culture.[Service] There is a sun room in the courtyard, where you can sit and watch the changing sky and clouds all year round. The hotel provides freshly ground coffee, white tea, Pu'er rock tea, a variety of high-quality tea and fruit snacks. You can have a cup of tea at any time to refresh your spirit.[Courtyard Highlights] Stroll through the oldest alleys, stay in a classic courtyard house, have a dialogue with history, immerse yourself in culture, and complete your Beijing tour in one stop.

Location: The hotel is in the middle of Hutong community, it is great for getting a glimpse of life in Hutong. Once you make your way out of the Hutong, it is close to a variety of restaurants. It is close to Yaoji Gulou store, which you can have a taste of traditional Beijing breakfast. The downside of being tucked in the Hutong is, it takes 10 min to walk in (ok in normal standards, but a bit hard when check-in/check-out with kids and luggage), and some Didi driver would whine a bit when they drive in.
Interior: The lobby has many traditional Chinese activities for you to try for free, such as traditional clothes, go chess, chinese chess, Guzhen, tea set etc. Fun for both kids and adults. The room is nice and clean.
Staff: Staff were very welcoming and responsive. You can tell they've put a lot of thoughts into their services down to the little details such as when to pack the breakfast for us.

The courtyard house I stayed in this time was very good. I experienced the old Beijing hutong and was very satisfied. The location is convenient, next to the subway station, and it is very convenient to various attractions in Beijing; the environment in the courtyard is clean and tidy, with style, and the room design is also very good, with two floors of loft, the bed is very comfortable, and the family can live in their own private space; the boss's service attitude is also very good, in short, it is very good, except that the price is a little expensive, there is nothing wrong with it!

When I first walked through the doors of this beautiful hotel…I was shocked. It was like walking through heaven! The staff were so helpful in taking my suitcases, bringing them to my room, and helping me check-in smoothly. I was a little hesitant about not being able to have my room ready since I was checking in at 10am but they were so nice in making sure I had a room and they made this happen through upgrading my friend and I to a larger room! Not only did this make the stay even more enjoyable but the breakfast and pool were also amazing! My pool is huge and clean, but you must wear a swimming cap which they can give you at the front desk before you enter the pool! The pool closes at 11pm which is amazing if you’re a late night swimmer! Breakfast, on the second floor, definitely did not disappoint me as they had a great variety of western and Chinese breakfast. From hash browns, to bacon, to pastries, to fruits! You can definitely get full with this breakfast! I will definitely be coming again in the near future!

I stayed for a week and the place is excellent for its location, close to subway and bus stop which makes it easy to move anywhere. To improve: the facilities of the rooms, limited in terms of ventilation and because the air conditioning did not work well at all. The breakfast was too basic and repetitive, with no variety or changes throughout the week. The rooftop terrace was too much wasted. It was closed practically the whole week and I only had the opportunity to visit it the night before my departure. It has a great view of the forbidden city so you should take advantage of it more, since there are no other amenities in the hotel, this area can be used to spend a nice time at night.

fantastic hotel! stayed in a dorm and the room was big, it felt like there was a lot of space including a table and seating area. everything was really clean and the outdoor terrace had a gorgeous view of hutong rooftops. there are washing machines but no tumble dryer. the location is really great too, central, easy to get public transport, and lots of food options nearby including a 24hr shop. the only thing is that towels & hand wash are not provided in the dorms so you have to remember to bring your own. other guests used my personal towel a couple times which was annoying!

When entering the hotel I was greeted by Leo at the front desk and he was very helpful throughout the process and also helped link my membership to the room as I had forgotten to do so. Although there was a small issue with the room, after bringing it up to the front desk they were very prompt in solving the issue and apologetic showing their sincerity. Was overall a good experience.

All of the staff were very helpful and professional. The one that stood out was Hardy who helped us book restaurants, made sure we had a smooth check in and check out. He was very kind and caring to ensure we had a good stay.
Thank you and we highly recommend any of our friends to stay at Intercontinental Sanlitun in Beijing.

AAnonymous UserWe really enjoyed our stay at Manxin Hotel. The room was very clean, although we did not need much help from the staff, everyone was very friendly and kind.
The location is amazing - walking distance to the center attractions (Forbidden City, National Museum, Tiananmen Square). Everything else you can reach by using Metro. The station is located within walking distance from the hotel. There are loads of food and shopping options at Wangfujing street, there is a food market at the metro station, as well as Beijing apm mall which we used a lot for food.
Great value, amazing location, we will be coming back!
JJulian PeensThis is a beautiful hotel situated in the mountainous region of Beijing. The surroundings and view from the hotel are breathtaking at sunset and weather was extremely good during our stay.
STAFF
The staff were amount the most helpful and friendly that I have encountered in China thus far and I have been here more than five years and traveled to many destinations. They do not speak English but are very ready to use a translation APP or WeChat to communicate. The staff are very accommodating and even took special requests regarding the menu.
FOOD
The food was very well prepared and tasted delicious. Their menu unfortunately does not have pictures and the translations may be tricky if you are not particularly familiar with Chinese cuisine. Nevertheless, the food that we at was fresh, tasty and of high quality. We were able to BBQ by ourselves by reserving it a day in advance. The staff will also help you BBQ if needed.
LOCATION
The hotel is situated far from the city and a sense of comfort can be experienced knowing that you have left the hustle and bustle of the city behind. However, make sure all amenities and personal effects that you may need are with you as you cannot get same day delivery services. There were some construction vehicles which made noise occasionally in the area but I would suspect this is temporary and will soon pass.
ROOM
The rooms are beautiful and we experiences no dysfunctional amenities in the bedroom. The linen on the beds were crisp and clean, the room was clean upon arrival and daily cleaning is offered. Overall cleanliness was very good. The washroom area is stocked with a loofa, toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, razor, hand towels, cups and reasonable space for personal toiletries too.
POOL AREA
The outdoor patio looks out onto the pool. The water was well maintained and some pool toys were provided by the hotel. The pool area could use some maintenance, for example, around the stairs there are a couple loose tiles on the stair face and some weeding around the footpath could be done. Other than this, the environment is completely mesmerising and leaves one completely relaxed. Calming music is played throughout the day at a low volume. At night, this area is well lit and the scenery beautiful.
BAR
The bar is well stocked with spirits but a slightly wider variety and maybe the addition of a drinks menu would definitely improve this.
ROOFTOP
The hotel has a rooftop deck perfect for sundowners and viewing the surrounding mountains. Tables and chairs are provided on the rooftop.
DdyhxMy first Orange Hotel stay and it's exceeded my expectations. Being a local chain known for its budget style, I was imagining Ibis type but it turned out much better. The hotel looks old from the outside but this being a newly opened one, everything inside looked clean and modern. Smart lifts where my room level is automatically detected once the card is scanned. I got a smart room that's controlled by Xiao Du小度 (their equivalent of Siri / Alexa). I had fun commanding Xiao Du to adjust the aircon temperature and switching on/off the TV, lights and even the curtains. They also have a food delivery robot and provide free self service laundry facilities. There's a small gym here which I didn't use. The room is a little small for 2 pax but more than comfortable for 1. The standing shower and toilet is separated and both of good size. The bed is firm and pillows comfy. Bottled water, mini fridge, tea bags are provided. Basic shower amenities are also provided, along with a pack of disposable toothbrush and comb at check in. I like the open wardrobe concept and they provide many hangers here including the clip ones. It's a rather basic hotel in general but certainly value for money. There are also quite some eateries along the street just a few mins walk from the hotel. I wouldn't mind staying here again the next time I visit.
HHADIYANTO CUGITOVery convenient location, the hotel is located at a popular district Xidan, near the famous Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing street. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Xidan station exit F1.
The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of cuisines ranging from Western delicacies to Chinese comfort food. The breakfast buffet opens from 7 - 10 AM.
The dinner buffet is a wonderful unforgettable luxury experience, serving hotpot, fresh Seafood and meat, and an ice cream station. The dinner buffet opens from 5:30 - 9:30 PM.
The room is very clean and looked new, the staffs are friendly and polite. Overall a wonderful experience, would definitely come back again.
CChong Siew ShinIs a very nice hotel to stay just a bit smaller but still can stay. Very friendly customer service even we want to take a taxi we have no app to order taxi the customer service help us to go out to the main road and help us stop a taxi and get us to airport. When ask them to help they also manage to help.
PphottigimathThe service was really good. We enjoyed the stay. The staff was very friendly. It is very near to the railway station, so it was really convenient. I should really appreciate the cleanliness, the rooms and the bathrooms were extremely clean. It was an amazing stay. All the staff did a really great job. Extremely happy.
PS: the receptionist was very handsome. So extra happy😁
WWade Ricky StuartIt was the most outstanding stay at this elegant hotel. The room was stunning, comfortable and well decorated. We loved the thoughtful and personalized anniversary decor on the bed, cards and bubbles. A special thank you to Paolo and the team. The delicious and decadent cake we ordered from the bakery was absolutely delicious. All the staff were professional, friendly and made our experience phenomenal. The afternoon tea, cocktails and light dinner at the club were delectable and so enjoyable. Can't wait to return for another awesome staycation at The Regent.
Uufo9119Andy Chen , very friendly staff ,the location is AMAZING.
Stayed many times in BJ this is the best place I stayed , went to the Guomao also took a walk , many places are closed by , it was a joyful stay.
BBernie123The room is decent size for the price and it is well distributed. The closet is just a hanger for like 4 or 5 garments so beware. Bathroom unfortunately was a bit smelly. Bed was comfortable. I did not like the included breakfast because it’s actually a bag they leave outside the door every morning with the same menu everyday and did not like all the items. I will try a different hotel in my next visit to Beijing.

LLiulizongI stayed at Beijing Daoxiang Lakeview Hotel with my parents, an old man and a child. The lobby was spacious and bright. The waiter was welcoming and greeted me warmly. Seeing me and my parents, I checked in immediately. The speed was very fast. When I stepped into the hotel room, I was instantly attracted by its elegant decoration. The spacious and bright windows and soft and warm lights, every detail showed quality and the neat bed was as soft as a cloud, making people forget the fatigue of the journey when they lie down. The restaurant environment is good, and the food is rich and varied. The only regret is that the buffet dinner is closed on Sunday. The children's playground is good and our baby had a lot of fun.
