This hotel is a great spot for clean, comfortable and well priced stay if you are going to Universal. It is really close to Universal and they offer a free shuttle. The cost of a Didi from Universal is very cheap so either way the shuttle or Didi will get you there in no time. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. There is a noodle soup station for breakfast and other options are decent. This hotel will be my choice when visiting Universal.

The room is spacious and the environment is comfortable. After playing with the children for a day, rest in a comfortable environment. It can eliminate the fatigue of the day. It is a great stay experience.

This time I took my son to Universal Studios. I chose Lavande and I was not disappointed. The room was neat and clean, and it was very close to Universal Studios. There was also a dedicated direct bus! The hotel is also equipped with a self-service laundry room, so you don’t have to take dirty clothes home!

I was a little hesitant when I booked a homestay. Compared with the surrounding hotels, the price was similar, but I was deeply attracted by the small yard with my baby. All afternoon, the children had a great time playing in the courtyard and the room. The breeze was blowing and sitting in the yard was very relaxing. It is a rare quietness in the city. There is also a hawthorn tree at the door, and the stray cats of relatives are the intimacy that the city hotel cannot reach. We are a family of 3 so we booked the loft room with 2 comfortable beds. Prior to arriving I have contacted the min su through WeChat and had informed the time we’d be arriving. Took about an hour to arrive from the Capital airport due to traffic jam on a Friday afternoon. The kind lady was at the door to welcome us at the door. The outside of the building is very unique so when first arriving you might not know where is the min su. Disposable slippers, amenities, hairdryer are provided. One time use items such as towels and face towel are provided. We used their shuttle and a Shu Shu drove us to universal studio (10 minutes drive) for a quick dinner. Dinner at grandma’s restaurant and then we took didi back and then ordered food delivery with the help of the lady through meituan. Lots of food choices! Delicious food and very affordable. Ordered breakfast for the next day before 11pm. Spent the morning just relaxing at min su before heading to Univeral studios for the afternoon. Staying at this minsu is one of the highlight for our trip! Love the vibes… hope this town gets more developed with more food choices, cafes and more activities ppl can enjoy while staying there! This is the first time staying at this hotel. It is about 10 mins from Universal Studio and they have a free shuttle to take you there (7am and 8am) and one free shuttle back at night about 9:30pm. I do not speak Mandarin and paying with my WeChat and Alipay without a China phone number was not working for me so calling taxi and ordering food was difficult. Thanks to the hostess (园儿姐) things went smoothly. She sent her contact, shuttle bus info and the hotel passcode via WeChat. When I need to order food, she allow us to order food via her phone as she waited patiently for us. When we reimburse her for the food, we gave her a bit more money because she waited for over half an hour for us to order but she insist not a penny more. On our last day out, we left the hotel very early in the morning as we tried to get a taxi ourselves since the hostess was not in yet but we ended up having to WeChat her for help. The hostess told us not to worry because she can order a taxi for us. We told her we were waiting at the same spot where the shuttle bus to Universal Studio picked us. She actually ran all the way from her home ( she lived approx. half an hour away) to where we were and waited with us until we got on to the taxi and she spoke to the taxi driver in Mandarin so he knows which airport to take us to.Honestly, where do you get this kind of service? The hostess speaks a bit of English ( she is taking courses to improve her English) but if we don’t understand each other, we use Alipay translated or the translation app on her phone. I definitely will come back again. Oh, FYI, the hostess do not enter your room to clean unless she have your permission which is great because I do not need cleaning everyday. They also provide disposable face and bath towel which I don’t mind because you know it is sanitary. She also greet you with a nice big plate of watermelon even when our plane was delayed by 4 hours and we did not arrive till approximately 11pm (she waited for us). I think if we would have set up our WeChat with a Chinese SIM card life would have been easier. We only got a Chinese SIM card after we left Summer House. After that, ordering food, calling taxi and making mobile payment was possible. I am grateful that the hostess went out of her way for us else we would have no idea how to order food. I like the overall design, and the sanitation is quite clean. My child likes dinosaurs very much, so it really suits his preferences. The magic restaurant is a little far from the room, but the restaurant is quite good. The breakfast is also a typical northern breakfast, with steamed buns, pickles and porridge. The pickles and meat buns are all delicious. Except that the road outside the B&B was a bit dirty due to construction, everything else was good.

I want to say that this is the best homestay I have ever stayed in. In fact, it is comparable to a 4-star hotel. The room is spacious, bright and comfortable, and the supplies are complete. The eldest sister picked us up and returned home after 11 o'clock. We were really moved.

We stayed at the hotel with a child for two nights on the 20th floor. There was a very strong smell of smoke on the entire floor, including in our room. Next to us, there were Chinese guests who did not close their doors and continuously smoked in their rooms as a group. It felt like a gas attack. We reported this to the reception, and the manager appeared surprised, but the problem was not resolved. The room had excellent decor and technical features, almost like a smart home. The toilet had a heating function, and there was good water in the shower (although not very hot, unfortunately). Upon our check-in, the toilet inside the room was dirty. The windows throughout the building were dirty from the outside, significantly affecting the overall impression. Breakfast was very unusual for a European, but perhaps it's normal for the Chinese.
