Hotels in Xidan and Financial Street Area, Beijing

We are very happy with the hotel in general and with its excellent customer service. Thanks to our wonderful guest manager 荟 who was very friendly and super helpful. She even helped us with some of our bookings. Also, we loved that the hotel has direct access to the shopping mall. The only comment we have regarding the room is that it was very warm. We were not able to change the temperature in the room, probably due to a regulation. About the bathroom, there is no good sound isolation as there is a big opening between the door and ceiling. Other than that, it was a great, spacious room.

Another great stay at the hotel (3rd in 3 years). A different type of room this time, not on the courtyard, but a great spacious and high tech room with an extremely comfortable bed. Since I last stayed they have embraced the cats and have a room and experience for you to pet the cats. I was worried when I arrived as I’m very allergic to cats but they are kept out of the bedrooms and I had no problems at all in my weeklong visit. One of the receptionists has a good command of English and this made things much easier as well this time. I would definitely come back again.

The B&B is in an alley. There is a large area of ​​trumpet creepers outside the house, which is already very beautiful. Walking into the main house is even more special. The owner must be a person who loves life very much. The green plants everywhere make people feel very peaceful and healing. The housekeeper is also very nice. Knowing that there are two of us, she made more breakfast for us. It was delicious, and there was also good coffee. Another question, the bedding was very good. It was the most peaceful night I slept in Beijing. Recommended, I will come again next time

We wanted to book tourist attractions in Beijing, but it was very difficult since we had just arrived and didn’t have a number in China. 小许was so kind to help us. She even contacted other people to help us get tickets to the National Museum of China. When we checked out, the hotel gave us snacks for the train, and I thought it was so considerate of them. We also left an umbrella, and the hotel called to notify me and asked me what I wanted to do. 小许 even offered to mail it to Chengdu for me. Overall, I am very satisfied and feel super lucky to have stayed at the Man Xin hotel. It was also very clean. Plus there was a nice multipurpose laundry/gym/lounge room on the roof, along with some outdoor seating.

we arrived before noon and were glad that we given early check-in to our room that was upgraded to one with windows. we had complete amenities which were replenished every day like toothbrushes and towels. the room has a tatami style bed as well as separate shower and toilet. in the lobby area, there is a refreshment area as well as an area for you to eat and work. we were also able to order taobao and have it sent directly to the hotel. overall, this was an excellent stay and we will certainly choose this again when we return to beijing!

Happy with the location, as it’s walking distance to both line 1 and line 4 metro exit. There is also few shopping malls to explore nearby, can buy food, clothes etc. Of course, you can also order food delivery using the food delivery app, *******. The only thing to take note is collect at level one near the entrance where they have a shelf for food deliveries. I’m satisfied with the room size, plus I was surprise with the storeroom.

## Facilities Ordering takeout is incredibly convenient: it's delivered to the front desk, and then a robot brings it directly to your room. The room is fully equipped with an iron, ironing board, a spacious bathtub, a small dining table, and a large desk. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable. ## Cleanliness The room features a practical, well-thought-out layout and was impeccably clean. ## Location The hotel's location is fantastic! Right next door is a Joy City shopping mall, making it super convenient for anything you might need. Directly opposite, you'll find numerous local eateries offering a rich and delicious selection for breakfast and lunch. A 20-minute walk gets you to the subway station, and from there, it's just two stops to Tiananmen Square. Don't miss the stunning exterior view of the Forbidden City from the hotel's 18th floor in the evening. ## Service The service was absolutely superb! The staff were incredibly accommodating and responsive to every request. They even helped warm up our takeout food in the evening. As a delightful surprise, each child received a complimentary panda plushie upon check-out.

This is a highly recommended hotel, perfectly situated in the Financial Street area. It's incredibly convenient and easily accessible. It boasts a 24/7 fitness center and an indoor swimming pool. The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options. Hailing a Didi is very straightforward. Baitasi Temple is just around the corner, the metro station isn't far, and bike rentals are readily available. The hotel staff are wonderful – always happy to assist and even provided thoughtful reminders. 👍🏼 The rooms are fantastic, and the cleaning staff are equally excellent, always responsive to requests for drinking water. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay close to the city center but prefer quieter evenings, and also fancy a nightcap. It's an excellent choice.

First time solo traveler here from the Philippines. First of all, this hotel is very clean! I booked a queen-size room, and while the bed itself was large and comfortable, the overall room space was a bit tight. I had two suitcases (24” and 20”), and it was manageable, but if you’re traveling with more than two bags, it might get a little cramped. The room had a minimalist, zen-inspired view that I absolutely loved. There were no windows, but somehow the design still made it feel peaceful and cozy — definitely a unique touch! The bathroom was well-equipped with essentials: shampoo, body wash, conditioner and a small hand soap by the sink. No bidet, but the shower had both hot and cold water with good pressure. Towels provided included two large body towels and two face towels. There was also a space to hang clothes, a comfy office-style chair, hair dryer, and even plastic and disposable slippers. There’s also bottled waters provided. Toothbrushes weren’t in the room but are available at the front desk upon request. One downside was the layout of the hotel itself — from the elevator to my room felt a bit like navigating a maze. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of. If you get room number 43**, you’ll understand what I meant. I booked a room with breakfast included, and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a full buffet with plenty of variety, and everything I tried was tasty. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, so be sure to get there on time. The check in process was also quick and easy. As for location, getting to the hotel from Beijing West Railway Station was a bit tricky. I believe the closest exit is the North Exit, but be prepared to cross a pedestrian bridge — which can be a challenge if you’re carrying heavy luggage. Once you’re settled in, though, the hotel is conveniently near a metro station, which makes getting around easy, even if it’s not close to major tourist sites. It’s also easy to book a DiDi from this hotel. Overall, I’m satisfied with my stay, especially given the price. It was the most affordable option I found at the time, and while it’s not perfect, it offers great value for first time solo travelers.

When we mentioned wanting to eat oranges, she surprised us with an entire plate of fresh oranges, along with gifting us a plush Ritz-Carlton lion—such thoughtful gestures that made us feel so cared for. The hotel’s elegance and attention to detail, paired with such exceptional staff, made our experience amazing. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
