The hotel is brand new with excellent facilities. Our room had a large bed, and the sofa converted into another double bed, so it easily accommodated four people. The room itself was very spacious and even included a decent-sized private hot tub, which is great if you prefer not to use the public springs. There's also a walk-in closet and a separate wet and dry bathroom.
The public hot springs are spread across two levels: the first floor and the top floor. The first floor has some small swimming pools and kids' pools, though the outdoor pool there was closed due to the cold weather. The top floor features over a dozen herbal hot springs, including some for children, and an outdoor infinity pool – it’s fantastic to soak in during winter.
I noticed four restaurants at the hotel: a large cafe near the entrance offering light meals, a noodle house inside the hotel that's quite good value, and the hotel's main restaurant, where you can order à la carte or enjoy a buffet on Saturday/Sunday evenings. The buffet was 228 RMB per person when we visited, with a good variety of seafood, stir-fries, and Western dishes, making it decent value for money. Breakfast, included in the room rate, also had a wide selection. There's also a Chaoshan beef hotpot restaurant. Parking was convenient.
Since it's a new hotel, the cleanliness was impeccable.
The surroundings are lovely, with a river nearby and mountains behind the hotel that have hiking trails. Outdoors, there's a mini-bike practice area, a basketball court, and a three-story 'Trendy Play' complex with a bouncy castle, claw machines, other amusement rides, computers, and some tech-based entertainment. However, these attractions require purchasing a package and aren't free.
The front desk staff and other employees were all very polite and helpful. Special shoutout to Xiao Xuan at the front desk, who resolved many of our issues quickly and efficiently. Complimentary tea is available in most buildings. The service was excellent; we stayed in Building 6, and we could check out directly from our building without needing to go to the main lobby.
The small courtyard has a good environment, there are terraces, slides, and swimming pools. There is a kitchen where you can cook by yourself, you can also eat the home-cooked dishes of the proprietress, and you can barbecue yourself. There is an activity room on the second floor, KTV, projection, game consoles, and the room is large and clean. The lighting is very good. The bathroom and the toilet are two separate rooms suitable for many people to travel. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and gave a lot of mineral water. I went out to eat roast rainbow trout at night. It rained. The proprietress also took the initiative to send us an umbrella. Next time I have the opportunity to have more people to barbecue together.
This stay was perfect! The room is warm and elegant, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and the smart toilet and brand toiletries are all available. The quality is reflected in every detail. The staff was enthusiastic and patient from check-in to check-out. They took the initiative to help with luggage, recommend nearby food, and thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits and goodnight desserts. The breakfast is rich in variety, with a reasonable combination of Chinese and Western styles, and the freshly cooked noodles are a must. The surrounding transportation is convenient, and it is quiet in the bustling city. It is very suitable for both business travel and leisure travel. Highly recommended!
The whole experience is super surprise! The room was clean and odorless, the bedding was soft and sleepy, the staff was gentle and efficient, the details control said that it was super satisfied, and it was included in the repurchase list ~ It is a high-scoring hotel! Convenient location, super convenient travel, new and complete facilities, even toiletries are very intimate, the price is directly full, recommended to all friends who travel ~ full experience! From check-in to check-out, the room has a wide view, the sound insulation effect is superb, quiet and comfortable, next time I come to choose this ~, I will exceed my expectations for a stay! Hotel health is super in place, service response is timely, live comfortably and at ease, must be five-star praise!
The room was very satisfactory, bottled water was well prepared, the kettle was very clean, and the tea set was also satisfactory👍🏻
I was quite tired after going out, so I booked an hourly room for 4 hours. After taking a shower, I comfortably nestled on the sofa to play with my phone and drink tea🍵 It was quite comfortable, and the window view was very good.
Toiletries were provided when checking in at the front desk. There were no slippers for bathing, but I looked at it and it was quite clean, and there were floor mats. If you can't accept it, you can ask for two more pairs of slippers at the front desk so that you can wear them for bathing🚿
There are security door chains, security locks, and cat eyes on the room door. The security is very high. You need to swipe the room card to get on the elevator.
I didn't expect this to be a Super 8 hotel. The environment and configuration are not worse than a 4 or 5 star hotel. My mattress and pillows are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. When I wake up, I am full of spirit. When the sun comes in, it is very like my own balcony. I have lived in so many hotels. The most satisfying time, I will definitely stay here next time!
I came to Fangshan on a business trip and stayed in Jiahe the last two times. There was a bad smell from the sewer in the room. The first time I thought it was a broken toilet in a certain room that had not been repaired, so I didn't pay much attention to it. This time I was sure it was from the room. I don’t quite understand why this problem is not solved. It’s obviously not bad in all aspects.
This was my first time staying at a Jinjiang chain hotel, and it was easily the most disappointing hotel experience I've ever had.
Firstly, the smell was awful. The hallways reeked of a strong, pungent odor, and once inside my room, the carpet had a distinct dirty sock smell. If this is such a persistent problem, perhaps they should consider removing the carpets altogether, as I've seen numerous other guests complain about this in reviews.
Another issue was the placement of the bath towels – they were on the very bottom shelf, right under the washbasin. Convenience aside, I questioned the hygiene of this; what's the difference between that and simply leaving them on the floor?
I also only noticed a stain on the duvet/comforter on the second day, after I had already slept under it for a whole night.
Secondly, the power outlets in the room were poorly thought out. I brought my laptop intending to get some work done, but there were no outlets on the desk itself. I had to awkwardly crouch down to plug it into a socket underneath the desk. Moreover, only one side of the bed had an AC outlet; the other side only offered a USB port. This was inconvenient, forcing us to take turns charging our two iPhones.
Thirdly, the TV's screen casting feature didn't even support 1080p. When attempting to cast in 1080p, the picture lagged significantly, so we were limited to watching in 720p. It's truly baffling to encounter such an outdated problem in 2025.
Fourth, the laundry room was a tiny space with two washer-dryer combos. Located on the second floor, right next to a training institution with no access control, it felt completely open for anyone to use – theoretically, even local residents could bring their laundry here. What's worse, someone actually took my clothes out of the dryer before they were finished to put their own in; I caught them red-handed. While this specific incident reflects individual behavior and I won't comment further on it, it strongly indicates a complete lack of management and oversight.
Fifth, regarding the housekeeping staff. I won't go into detail here to avoid potentially affecting anyone's job, as everyone has their own difficulties, but I was genuinely very upset.
Overall, this hotel falls significantly short when compared to Quanji hotels; it doesn't even measure up to Hanting. Basic comfort should be a given, and who wants to stay in an environment constantly plagued by foul odors?
To be fair, there were a couple of positives: the Mousse brand mattress was actually quite comfortable, and the front desk staff were helpful and responded promptly.
The location is very good, very convenient, very close to Yunju Temple and very close to Zhangfang Ancient Town. The most important thing is in the snow field. Ski during the day, eat a hot pot in the small courtyard at night, bubble private soup, and see the night view of the snow field. Very pleasant. The elderly and children are very happy!

GGuest User✨ [First glance into the room] I was amazed, the decoration is very beautiful, very suitable for friends to gather.
🙋 [For the landlord, I want to say] The landlord is very enthusiastic, serious and responsible, on call, there is a little thing that WeChat told us, but if we need it, the landlord will take the trouble to appear immediately to help us solve the problem. And all the supplies in the homestay are the best to choose, the face towel is thick, and the quality is better than that used by my own home.
🛏 [Housing facilities, I must mention] The equipment of the house is also very good, and there are a lot of things to play, and there are several game consoles.
💡 [Small surprise for me by the homestay] The swimming pool in the yard is simply a must-have in summer, the water quality is clean, and it is a constant temperature swimming pool, which is not too cold, but also can relieve the heat and cool down. It is a must-have for summer vacation!
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and very clean. The mountain view from the courtyard was stunning. Stepping outside, we could take leisurely walks on the mountain paths. Since it wasn't a public holiday, there were very few people around, allowing our dog to run freely to its heart's content. But the absolute highlight was the wonderful cooking by the hostess. All three meals were incredibly delicious and generous, satisfying our entire family. We truly appreciated this all-inclusive guesthouse style; it saved us a lot of hassle.
PPaomalvxingdexiaopengFacilities: The facilities are generally good, sleeping is very comfortable, the bed is a hard bed, I like to sleep on a hard bed, very practical. It is also quiet, and it may be panic nearby.
Hygiene: Hygiene is also quite good, there is no place that makes me feel uncomfortable
Environment: This homestay in his house is integrated, that is, there are dining, housing, and private rooms. The first floor is a place to eat, equivalent to a restaurant, the second floor is a private room plus a room, the 3rd floor, the 4th floor I don't know, I didn't go up.
Service: The service is also very good, the boss is good and enthusiastic. The amount of food in his house is also very large, but it is salty.
XXurifeiyingIt's rare to find such a reliable hotel in a remote area outside Beijing. Although it is slightly different from the city, it is very convenient and provides breakfast, which is already very satisfying. Hahahahahaha
GGuest UserCtrip booked the No. 11 courtyard of Sumac Huakai. The courtyard is very close to Taoye Valley, and the navigation is directly from Taoye Valley.
✨[First glance into the room] There is a river at the entrance of the small courtyard, and there are vendors selling fruits and children's toys around. There are many green plants at the entrance of the courtyard. Follow the stone steps into the courtyard. The yard is not too big, but it is very clean, full of hydrangea, very beautiful.
🙋[For the landlord, I want to say] The landlord’s eldest sister has a gentle service attitude, not impatient or impatient, like it. The itinerary will be determined one day in advance, the number of occupants, and the meal requirements after check-in can be communicated, but the landlord is basically the master. From the beginning of our stay, the landlord has been busy with afternoon tea and dinner in the kitchen. Afternoon tea is locally produced apricots, steamed pumpkins and sweet potatoes. The drinks are the unique hawthorn juice of the hotel. The weather is hot, so let the landlord help to chill in advance, sweet and sour. It's cool and delicious. There are 7-8 dishes for dinner, homemade taste is delicious, slightly salty. After dinner, the landlord will communicate the breakfast time of the next day and come to the courtyard one hour in advance to prepare.
💡[Small surprise from homestay] The room is simple and clean. There are disinfection cupboards and a small refrigerator in the living room. If you need frozen food, you can put it in the refrigerator in the kitchen. There are a total of 3 rooms, the bedding is very clean, each room has a separate bathroom, and separate dry and wet.
📍[For the convenience of the surroundings, I want to say] It’s very convenient to follow the navigation
🛏[Housing facilities, I must mention] There is a room in courtyard 11 which is separated from the other two rooms. At the entrance of the courtyard, friends joke is the porter😂
The overall feeling is still very good, the weekend price is a little expensive, I personally feel that the usual price is more reasonable. Because you can only move in at around 2 pm, you can go to nearby Pofengling to climb the mountain. It is said that May and October are the most beautiful seasons. There is a red back basket restaurant in Pofengling. The taste is good, especially the noodles. It's delicious, but the food here is relatively salty. There is also a Pharmacist Temple near Pofengling, where you can visit the Buddha, and there are often Buddhist ceremonies held here.
GGuest UserOld four-star hotel, old facilities, low customer flow, gym facilities are all out of use, even conditioner is omitted, TV is very small, breakfast is not as good as that of a fast hotel. Bottled water is ice dew, the cap and bottle body are so bad that they can't be unscrewed, as thin as paper. The shower head in the middle of the shower room is atomizer, and the small shower head below is installed too low, so it can only be handheld.
GGuest UserThe boss is warm and friendly, the room is spacious and bright, especially the courtyard, trees and flowers, the pavilion is playing in the water, you can see that the boss is attentive!
GGuest UserProblems: It is difficult to use the shower head to nourish water everywhere. It is very inconvenient except that there is no trash can in the toilet. The network is not good, there is always no signal, and I have to use mobile phone traffic to surf the Internet. I caught 10 stinky sisters from the house and I was a little worried. The location of the toilet is very strange. It is in the middle of the house. There is no exhaust fan. If there is a little smell, it can spread to the room through the inner window. The smell is simply.
Pros: The staff are friendly
