The hotel is in alley perpendicular to branch of the Dashilan main street (branch of another branch street).the taxi I took from Beijing South rail station dropped me at the street where it is not the most direct way to walk in (the driver pretended to miss the turn). If you are taking taxi drop the pin and meishijiekou emailing point. Hotel itself is small. No lift. Room is just slightly bigger than the typical Tokyo style. But very nice for a solo traveller. Mind you I took the deluxe room with window facing outside. Comes with snack, apple and very helpful service desk. Room is high tech. Location is good, walk out to have food. No typical local breakfast shop nearby though.For this reason, I will choose to stay at Dongsi which is more vibrant with locals and less touting. Overall, it is a good place to stay if it is a very quick short turnaround in Beijing.

Fantastic hotel! The location is superb, within walking distance to Tiananmen Square, and close to Metro Lines 2/8 and Line 7. Yangmeizhu Xiejie offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle, with Dazhalan/Qianmen commercial street right outside, perfect for experiencing Beijing's unique charm. The service is incredibly thoughtful: fresh towels and mineral water are provided daily, and the lounge has coffee, hot water, and a microwave. There's also a laundry room where you can self-service wash, air dry, or tumble dry your clothes. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming 24/7. After staying for a week, it felt like being with family. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing.

this has been my favorite hotel stay. from the attention to detail, to the beautiful aesthetics, and kind staff - thank you for making my first time in china so pleasant. the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. i was happy to start and end each busy day in this sanctuary. make sure to try the orange toast and relax at the cafe. qianmen street is a short walk from here along with the metro station. the hotel is located in a hutong, so you get the authentic feel all around. i will recommend this place to anyone going to beijing. don’t hesitate, just book it! thank you again to the attentive and nice staff 😊

The biggest highlight of choosing this hotel was its location. Right outside is Zhushikou subway station, and you can walk to Qianmen, Dashilar, and Tiananmen, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. Objectively, the room size was small, and the decor was a bit dated. Our twin room only had a tiny window, and the bathroom was so cramped only one person could stand in it; turning around would be difficult if you're a bit bigger. However, it was kept quite clean. There's no elevator for the 2nd and 3rd floors, and if you order delivery, it's left at the front desk shelf for you to pick up. Considering the prime downtown location, which is incredibly expensive, this is completely acceptable – you get what you pay for. A special shout-out to front desk staff member #12; their service was excellent and they were very quick to respond to requests. Friends visiting Beijing who prioritize location for sightseeing should definitely consider this place.

The hotel is clean and equipped with smart facilities. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and transportation is very convenient. Highly recommended!

We stayed for one night and liked the hotel. It has a good location, not far from the historic Tiananmen Square. We didn't encounter any staff who spoke English, but we still managed to understand each other. The beds were comfortable, though the transparent glass bathroom door was a bit odd. We liked that there's a Starbucks nearby, but you can also try local cuisine.

Thumbs up! A big shout out to the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties! My overall experience at this Super 8 hotel was excellent. The surrounding area is very pleasant, the hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and the location is decent. There are also some good local restaurants nearby. The room was spotless and odor-free, with very new facilities and comfortable decor. The bed was super soft, the air conditioning was new and ran quietly, and the soundproofing was good, making for a very peaceful stay. My room was on the second floor, just a short walk up the stairs, which was very convenient. The front desk lady was incredibly helpful, warm, and thoughtful. She even upgraded my room for free since there was availability. When I extended my stay, the cleaning auntie re-tidied my room, and it was impeccably clean. A huge thank you to both the cleaning auntie and the front desk lady, you both deserve a big thumbs up! The only minor drawback is that it's not super convenient to get to the subway. However, there are shared bikes right outside, and if you walk through the alley to the south, you can catch a bus, so getting around is still quite smooth. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely choose this hotel first when I'm in the area again.

Before I checked in, I was prepared for ～, so there was no big gap when I entered. The smell of smoke in the room was heavy.～ It’s good to be really close to Tiananmen Square. The main thing is a convenient ～.

Although the hotel is located in a stone alley in a residential area with a very poor surrounding environment, the staff were unwelcoming, unhelpful, and impolite towards guests. Especially for out-of-town tourists, even though they may be lower-income individuals, they should still be treated with the same warmth and attentiveness as any other guest, providing them with the best possible service. When out-of-towners asked questions, the staff seemed clueless, which is unacceptable. As a guesthouse in the service industry, it's essential to be familiar with the surrounding area and transportation; this is basic knowledge. The guesthouse owner clearly hasn't provided any training to the staff, leaving all guests deeply disappointed. Additionally, each room should be provided with two bottles of purified water daily. This would greatly help newcomers quickly quench their thirst and alleviate hunger, which is very necessary for guests. I'm saying all this without any malice, merely hoping the owner can improve the service quality and make the business better.
