Hotel Best Triton

EVERY WAS VERY GOOD AT BEST TITON HOTEL , ESPECIALLY THE FREE BAR ON HOGMANY, INTO THE WEE SMALL HOURS. MY ONLY FAULT AND COMPLAINT WAS BEING CHARGED 15 EUROS FOR 90 MINUTES TO USE THE INDOOR POOL PER DAY ..........RIP OFF , AND ALSO JET 2 FAILED TOO ADVISE OF THIS RIP OFF , YOU DONT MIND A SMALL FEE BUT 15 EUROS PER DAY , WELL ENOUGH SAID, OH , THE GYM WAS FREE TOO USE

Mixed experience at this hotel, but would come back just not full board as I felt the food and the restaurant layout didn't match the 4 star hotel, we stayed in a premium room and loved the view, beds were comfy shower was good, we had a large balcony but space in the room wasn't great as was the amount of hangers. No English TV channels apart from BBC news but channels in lots of other languages. Our experience of housekeeping was disappointing, but staff are very friendly and bar prices are very reasonable. Entertainment was disappointing in terms of quality and that it's only on for an hour at night. Can't mention any stand out members of staff as they're all very busy and task focused and you don't get the opportunity to engage with them. Management are conspicuous by they're absence, this is a beautiful hotel but very corporate and lacks a personal touch. Currently booked to come back in September but were thinking of swapping for an airb&b

Really Nice Hotel. We booked for 6 nights half board over new year. It was a last minute booking with Jet 2. Rooms are recently refurbed and very nice. Cleaning was good and regular. Food was excellent. No complaints. Breakfast was busy but this is usual stuff. Always plenty of tables free. Might become a bit repetitive if you were there for more than a week. Entertainment was OK considering it was low season. We had a good New Years Gala night which was a surprise. The hotel is huge and consists of 3 buildings all connected. How to get from one place to another was a bit confusing initially but we got the hang of it. You do cover a lot of steps each day getting from A to B. The outdoor pools were too cold to use due to time of year. They have one which is covered and supposed to be heated but I was not convinced. It was freezing too but we did brave it a few times. There is an indoor pool in the Spa area but you have to pay and it is expensive. 62 Euros for 2 adults and 2 kids. It is a very good pool with lots of different areas and jets etc but still too expensive I think. The rooftop terrace is stunning and also has a pool which would be great in the summer. It is only available to those with premium rooms but everyone can go there after 5pm. We did see an option for a premier room when booking with Jet 2 but it did not explain this benefit. It was very expensive to upgrade at the hotel so we did not bother. Maybe in Summer it would be worth it. Location is very good. Very close to Marina and beach. Buses available to Malaga and Mijas etc. A taxi to Malaga was less then £20. We went to see the Xmas light show which I would recommend. All in all a great holiday and a very nice hotel. I would go back again if we visited that area.

I agree with other reviewers regarding the food, we stayed In December. The hotel really needs to improve on food temperature, someone is seriously going to be very sick with food poisoning, so on one particular evening I was going to have the Turkey until I noticed it was pink as they sliced it, I mentioned it straight away to the manager, who wasn’t really interested until I insisted the meat was changed which it was. Also unless you have something freshly cooked , a lot of the food on offer is not hot enough, so was not impressed at all , so wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. Also another problem after 6pm the water for shower was luke warm , so was very cross as I would like a decent temp shower so another reason I will not be returning we stayed in the premium room which was nice and the hotel is very clean.

Nice Hotel. Difficult to Navigate at First. We were there for 6 nights over Christmas and overall we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms Ours was a standard room. These were spacious. Well appointed. With, yes some signs of unfinished snagging. Cleaners were reliable. Nor real complaints. Location. Great with easy access to local buses, very close to the beach, and close to the marina. Outside Great layout in the gardens, nicely laid out and lovely pools though a bit too cool in December Food The food was very good and along with a very enjoyable Christmas Eve meal. No mince pies or Christmas pud but this didn’t matter to us. Our only complaint was the chaos of too many people chasing the food at the same time in the available space. Entertainment Mostly good, but depending on personal taste. The saxophonist was excellent, Staff. Some seemed to be irritated when they were called upon for advice but overall pretty good. Would we go again? Yes we would however the prices have shot up recently, so for that reason it might be unlikely. Layout This is a big hotel and like others found navigation a little difficult over the first few days. Once we had grasped the layout it became a lot easier. Perhaps better signage would help.
