Absolutely the most beautiful honeymoons spot. Staff is so friendly and goes wayyy out of their way for anything you could ask for. The island is perfect, villas are incredible, and food is great too. The excursions can be a tad expensive but they are optional. Robson was our host / butler and was the hardest worker I’ve ever met.

Incredible beach resort in an intriguing culture . Impeccable service. Celebrated our 40th anniversary (along with a few honeymooners). We’ve been to many high end resorts around the world - Azura is right up there. Would go back in a heartbeat!

This was the most special time for us. Nevermind the absolute beauty of a paradise island, we were treated like royalty by Edgar (Eddie) who thought of things before we would even ask and gave us special treatment by brining us prawns for a lunch when they weren't even on the menu. The employees at Azura are unique in the way they care for you. I made a special friend in Marcia who taught me Portuguese and Johnny who took us snorkeling and held my hand in the water guiding me and helped us find turtles, octopus and a reef shark amongst all the other beautiful tropical fish. He is also the Dugong whisperer and was spotted at least two of these shy creatures while out for snorkeling trips. Let me not leave out the best bar in the world voted by Conde Nast in 2022 - Peri Peri Beach Club. In my opinion still owns that title, it is sublime. Obrigada.❤️

5 Star experience, SERVICE is incredible!!! The staff is so amazing and Robson was always there when we needed something. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed staying here. The food was beyond good, Michelin level good. The Scuba and reef are a must do if you can. This hotel gives back to the community in so many ways from providing schools and health clinics.

We have been to many 5 star resorts and locations in our travels, this is by far at the top of our list. The island, location, resort and most of all the staff make this stand apart from every other resort. We were pampered to no end and the food was incredible! This is a must do island adventure. Thank you to Robson and the rest of the staff that made our stay so amazing! Also the fact that the hotel gives back and helps the community so much is first class.

As you would expect, the rooms were spacious and well-equipped. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The diving staff particularly so when putting up with my incompetence! The management team were very visible and anxious to make sure that everything was running well. We never had a problem but felt confident that it would have been fixed should one have arisen. The food was uniquely good. You could watch the locals catching fish during the day and then eat that fish in the evening. A real bonus was that the chef had opted to not go with the ubiquitous buffet style catering and instead have a well-thought through limited choice menu of interesting and tasty dishes. It had been explained that they would cook whatever we wanted and one night the table next to us put that to the test. They ordered dinner for six that had nothing to do with the menu! Nobody batted an eyelid and their special dinner arrived promptly as ordered. We never felt the slightest need to go past the blend of European/African selections on the menu. For us, this was a definite high.

My family had an amazing time at Azura! We were looked after by Nino! He was very attentive and friendly! We could completely relax in such a beautiful place that is truly paradise! The food was delicious and always fresh! Loved that Azura went all out to ensure a unique dining experience every night for us which was private and it felt like we were the only people at the resort!

Wir waren im September 7 Nächte im Azura auf Benguerra Island und es war einfach sensationell! Der Überflug mit dem Heli hat diese wundervolle Zeit schon einmalig beginnen lassen. Atemberaubende, ursprüngliche Natur, wundervolle und herzliche Menschen, fantastisches Essen und ein Service, der keine Wünsche offen lässt….nicht mal selbst gemachtes Nutella-Eis mit Cappuccino nachmittags am Strand war ein Problem. Alle sind dort mit viel Leidenschaft und Herzblut dabei. Einen besonderen Dank an dieser Stelle an Carlos1, best Butler Service…..Carlos2, best Nature Guide und Olivia beste Gästebetreuerin!
