I have stayed at this location a number of times in recent months but upon my arrival for a 2 night stay today--April 25, 2021--with a prebooked, prepaid and non-refundable booking, I was told by the person at the desk that they charge local area residents a $200 CASH deposit in order for them to stay.  I'd have had no issue with them putting a $200 refundable deposit on my credit card but cash was requested. Now, I am not a bad customer by any means. I am clean, quiet, and peaceable and my room is left clean after every visit. I often utilize local hotels as a quiet workspace but I won't be back to this location. I'm old enough to remember the days when businesses wanted repeat customers and worked to build relationships with them--even asking for the favor of referrals from them. Not only will I not return to this location, I will not be recommending them to my out of town guests. It's sad really but I won't spend my money where I am treated as ”suspect” due to the behavior and trouble of others. I get hotels have issues but it's not like I've not stayed there before and had been treated as a welcome guest.

We stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham for two nights in town for our nieces graduation. We checked in at about 10 o’clock at night the desk clerk was beyond helpful and just as nice as she can possibly be. In fact for the whole two days that we stayed the personnel and desk staff were extremely kind and helpful to us. The bed was comfortable and we slept great both nights. We only had two complaints and that had to do with the cleanliness of the bathroom sink and the towels. Upon arriving and checking the room the bathroom sink had what appeared to be beard hair from someone shaving or brushing out the beard in it. I wiped The granite counter and sink down with antibacterial wipes. The counter was dirty as well as was evidenced by the wives. The towels on the shelf had some frayed edges and in my opinion you could trim those with a pair of scissors and it wouldn’t be quite so obvious that they were worn a little bit. Travelers should be advised that because of the pandemic ? (May 2021) that some breakfast foods have been deleted from the menu there were no eggs and no meat at all available in fact we did not eat there any morning that we were there. One of the reasons that we stayed there is because they had breakfast available. Travelers should also be advised the rooms are not cleaned daily. Their rule of thumb is they only clean the room after you check out before the next person check soon supposedly.

We stay here on our trips to and from our land. Staff has always been exceptional. Beds are comfortable. Adequate parking for our towed jeep. Pet friendly. Easy to get to. Always clean and COVID precautions well handled. Will continue to stay here.
