Nice Looking Hotel, Lacking Service I had high expectations for this hotel because of the name and the price and felt it didn't live up to either. The room was small but very nice room features and esthetics were great. The view was awesome, the bed was comfy and I loved the pillow menu. The room service was also really great. Good food, amount of time for delivery was great as well. The not-so-good: Our ”air system” in the room was not working the entire time and it was a constant fight with the hotel staff for them to even look at it. It was never addressed during our stay at all. When we brought it up to the lady at the front desk she told us we should open a window. I didn't pay $350 a night to be told to ”open a window” and I'm not a fan of sleeping with bugs that fly into the room. We did manage to get a fan for the room and that did help a little but the attitude was not appreciated. Also, we had a problem with housekeeping unplugging anything and EVERYTHING left to charge in our room while we were not there. One item was my electric toothbrush which was dead. They even when as far as removing our room key entirely from the wall. I found this very unacceptable. We are energy conscious but if I leave something to charge it's for a reason. Also on our checkout day housekeeping walked into our room at 8 am and saw my husband naked getting out of the shower. The location is okay, not super convenient, overall beautiful hotel but staff need some major training in how to service and communicate with guests.

Room is spacious and we were given a room in another building with a private balcony. Even though there is nothing to view from there facing building inside, the cushions and a table arranged there are good for a short stay with a cup of tea/coffee. Location is good. A bit far away from train station by walking, but still manageable. Walking distance to the old town area though. There was also an incident that the front desk was helpful. After checked out and left the hotel, we found we left a camera somewhere in the room. We went back to hotel and we were offered help immediately. If I will stay in this town again, will likely choose this one as first option.

The hotel staff is very friendly and happy to answer my questions. They respect the guests very much. The hotel environment is very good, comfortable and clean. Only 5 minutes away from the train station, very convenient There are not too many breakfast choices, but they are all acceptable and taste good

We, my family explored entire Switzerland staying at this hotel. It was one of most pleasant long stay we had ever. The hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was fabulous. The Bern main train station is just 11 minutes away while using tram and the rides were through the beautiful streets of Bern, which are unforgettable. Truly appreciate the location, very calm and quiet. Do recommend to colleagues and friends.

The front desk attitude is very good, the hotel facade is small, but the rooms are large and well-equipped and spacious, highly recommended! Bern is the most beautiful city we have ever visited in Switzerland and is worth visiting

Liked the location of the hotel. However, we had booked it for a/c but the air conditioning was not working in any of the 3 rooms we had so it was very disappointing. Extremely hot and uncomfortable at night.

Stayed in this hotel for two weeks during my official visit in Switzerland. Located just opposite to Schonegg Tram stop, this hotel is just 10 mins from Bern Bahnof (Railway Station). This is an old design hotel with all modern amenities. The staff at the reception are polite helpful. The room which I got was at the end of the corridor which was quite small in terms of width. The bed was also quite small. The room was giving a vibe of coziness though. The bathroom was neat and clean but was small The hotel has an in house restaurant located in the first floor. Overall the food in the menu were quite expensive. The room rent didn’t include complimentary breakfast so the breakfast was also quite expensive ( 7.5 CHF for express and 19.5 for Buffet) Positives 1. Courteous Staff 2. Free High speed Wi Fi 3. Complimentary Public Transport pass 4. Clean and Hygienic room 5. B’ful view from the window 6. Check In and Check out was smooth Negatives 1. Small room 2. Enthusiasm, the room is also good, suitable for self-driving, a little distance from the city center, good value for money, convenient around, supermarket hotels, will choose here next time

Good value for money hotel, 20 minutes from the city center. The front desk is always so cold, but fortunately, there is a problem or solve it in time according to the process. A day ticket will be sent to the city of Bern, which can solve the transportation cost of the tour. The hotel is connected to the mall and eating is not a problem at all. There is also a huge pool ride that can be used for free.

The room is warmly furnished and well equipped, there is a warm light on the door, and then there are convenient hangers and tables that allow you to easily hand things in your hands, just like returning home! Every furniture is placed very carefully, there are small snacks, candy and mineral water, the small restaurant can cook by itself, tools and seasonings are complete. The details of the careful layout are displayed everywhere, I like it very much, I will stay here next time I come to Switzerland. The self-check-in information is detailed and there is no trouble.
