Generally, I think B&Bs provide more family-style meals, but these two days There are appetizers, staple dishes, main dishes, and desserts. It’s exactly like eating in a Western restaurant~ The quality is very good👍🏼👍🏼 They are all delicious and very cost-effective. The same meal in Hong Kong would probably cost twice as much! Great chat You know, it turns out that the B&B has its own pastry chef. No wonder the desserts are of very high quality. You can eat local Hokkaido ingredients here, including Biei pork and Sakurahime chicken, as well as scallops and a variety of fresh vegetables. I personally like scallop risotto and spaghetti with meat sauce! The same goes for Sakurahime chicken~ I already want to eat it again when I think about it. . The staff at the B&B are very kind and friendly, providing immediate assistance when needed and properly reserving space for guests. We all feel very good about it. Next time we have the opportunity, we will continue to enjoy the tranquility and slow leisure time in Hokkaido!

Accommodation for family. The meal is a better impression than the price in the morning and evening. It is a large bath, but because of the day trip OK, locals and camping cottages continue 々 night １０, so you can't slow down if you don't come out early in the morning because you come to take a bath. It's a public inn, so it's not possible, but if you care about the local people, it's better to make the cost of bathing in several private rooms to make a bath for the guests. At night ８ I was a little joking with my child at the time, and I complained and the front desk came at ８ halftime. I didn't visit to confirm early time of family accommodation for consecutive holidays. One-sided point. I ran around in a slower time, but I didn't point out that there was no revisit.

Spacious room, children went on the tatami sleeping on the futon. Lots of storage space too and plenty of amenities. Free coffee in lobby was nice and fresh from beans. We rang reception at 130am as next room guests were too loud and they resolved it. Close to JR train and bus station. Happy to recommend. Hotel tried their best to help make our stay comfortable.

Excellent location and breakfast buffet. The universal twin bedroom is a bit small and facing the wall of building across but is functional clean and well maintained. The front desk staff are friendly but can’t communicate in English. We had to use Google translate. Parking across the hotel is 800 yen for 24 hours so would recommend. Beddings are comfortable and room is clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet with sashimi hot dishes and ice cream is such a delight and is the selling point of this hotel. Overall we are very pleased with what paid for as now is non peak season.

Stayed after a visit to Furano by car rental. You can go to the sights on foot right next to the platinum waterfall. There is also a locker with a key with a hot spring, so I could take a bath with a smartphone or a room key. The room I stayed with 4 people was a large room with a bed x 2 + futon x 2, and the view from the window was good. Ice put in the water tube was also available at the front desk and was also helpful for the heat countermeasure. It was a pity that I saw the next building from the western style open-air bath. The Japanese style open-air bath was good with the view of the white cherry forest.

A quiet place which is walking distance from Nakafurano JR station. Enough parking space for those who drive. Managed to get up early and saw the sunrise. Lovely. There is no restaurant in this inn but they do provide breakfast. There are convenience stores nearby to buy your food. Microwave ovens are provided. You can then choose to eat your meal in the dining space downstairs or upstairs in your rooms. Tomita Farm is straight down the road. If you walk, you take about 25 mins. If you drive, it will be less than 10 mins.

We wanted to hike to Mt. Asahidake during the Koyo (Fall foliage) season, and among the properties at the base of the mountain, La Vista Daisetsuzan appeared to be the highest end accommodation in the area. Both the outside and inside of the lodge are charming and rustic in appearance, but are definitely showing clear signs of age and wear. In fact, while taking a dip in the communal Onsen (natural hot springs) bath, I overheard two men remarking how the place was ”boro boro” (Japanese for ”really worn down.”) Thankfully, we were relieved to find that La Vista Daisetsuzan was at least quite clean, and did not exhibit the old, moldy smell that is commonplace in older properties. And the dining room seems to have been renovated - we enjoyed our dinner here (more on that in a moment.) We stayed in their ”Luxury Room,” the highest category unit that was a relatively spacious 56m² open-plan Junior Suite. Other rooms on premises are quite a bit smaller, but people used to staying in standard rooms at Marriott-class properties will be more than satisfied with these room types. La Vista Daisetsuzan has a communal, gender-segregated Onsen on site - there is both an indoor and open-air outdoor bath, which is appreciated, especially in the Winter months, given that you'll want to warm up in the indoor bath before jumping into the outdoor one. While we did not have breakfast at the property (we wanted to get an early start on our hike, and we're glad that we did - the sky is more clear and there are less crowds), we had the French-Japanese dinner. To say that the meal exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. We're in Hokkaido, and an hour from the nearest city (Asahikawa), yet every dish was creative, beautifully presented and a feast for the eyes and palate. Everything - from the tuna tartare to the mini quiche to the Foie Gras to the al dente pasta with mushrooms and broccoli - was a highlight. The only serving that did not hit the spot was the main (ocean-) fish dish. The fish was hard and dry - when you're in the center of Hokkaido, perhaps they should focus on other ingredients, or at least serve fish that are fine frozen (like Tuna) or that come from the nearby rivers or lakes. Overall, if we were to make a return trip to the area, we would be more than fine with staying again at La Vista Daisetsuzan. In no way is this a destination unto itself, but if our short but pleasant stay is any indication, it's a very solid higher-end option in Daisetsuzan. It definitely blows away the vast majority of lodges in U.S. National Parks, that's for sure!

The hotel's location is perfect for those looking to trek, hike, or simply enjoy the natural beauty of Daisetsuzan National Park. Overall, Higashikawa Asahidake Onsen Hotel Bear Monte offers a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the area, with spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities, and a prime location near key attractions. I would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Mount Asahidake.
