Hotels near Legion Field Stadium in Birmingham

The hotel was clean and in a great location for the reason I was in Birmingham. It was near to the event that I was attending. The sink in my room had a stopper that prevented the water from escaping when I did not want it to collect in the sink during activities such as brushing my teeth and washing my face. The water was also cold and took an excessively long time to heat up even a little bit. It was not even lukewarm. Therefore, I checked out and was unable to shower. My son actually took a cold shower on a cold day, one of the coldest that we have had in Alabama in a while. I was also awakened by an emergency message and alarm to vacate the building due to an emergency only to learn later that it was a test. I learned this when the fire truck arrived and I heard an employee apologizing for not calling them to let them know that it was only a test. I only stayed overnight so there was no other opportunity for me to get a better impression. The only reason that I did not give a lower rating for the facilities is because once I reported the issue with the shower and sink, they sent a handy man to the room to make the repairs, but my son was already taking a cold shower at the time since we were scheduled to get back home to meet previously scheduled obligations. The staff person who was checking me out said that she couldn't do anything for me because I booked through a third party. However, she did state that she would refund the money that I paid for parking.

I went there on for business &also with family &it was very nice. They are Very Nice &Clean! Great Hospitality from the front desk &staff. They were very courteous and polite. I know where to go when I want to do things with my family away from home even though I stay in Birmingham.

I had a great experience with this hotel. I had an unexpected house fire that afternoon and they took very good care of me and my time of need. I would highly recommend to anyone

I booked this hotel for a stay for our high school tennis team and our entire stay was top notch. From booking the stay through group sales to every staff member we dealt with, I could not have asked for a better stay. The hotel was currently undergoing (and almost done with) a full renovation, so there was still some construction finishing up. That did not affect our stay. In fact, we had stayed there before the renovation, and the updates are great with all newly decorated rooms and common spaces. Teresa was our on-site contact and was not only friendly, but went out of her way to accommodate specific needs for our travel group. Breakfast on weekends typically doesn’t start until 7am, but they were able to offer a full hot and cold breakfast at 6am to accommodate our kids’ need to eat early and get to their tournament.

This was a great place to stay that was in downtown Birmingham and close to Children’s Hospital where we needed to go. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little too soft, but the room was great other than that. The hot breakfast was also great and had several options. We would definitely stay here again!

We stopped here for the night unexpectedly when traveling south. (We needed to break up the drive). I was hesitant with COVID, however this place is absolutely immaculate even by my sometimes unrealistic standards. Every staff member I came in contact with was kind & helpful. They’re doing things right here, I will stay without hesitation in the future.

Hotel service and hotel location are particularly good. There are also many things to eat around. The main thing is parking safety at night. 😁
