The Sandalwood Hotel

Just had a lovely stay at The Sandalwood. Mark and Vanessa couldn't do enough for you from the moment we stepped through the door until our stay was over. We stayed in the deluxe room which was lovely. Had 2 good nights sleep so definitely no issues with the bed. Shower and toilet is a little small but that's to be found in most little B & B's. Maybe take an adapter if you have phones or tablets to charge. There's a little information folder in your room and maybe the WiFi password could be put in this as i didn't realise hotel had WiFi until I noticed it on the wall on my 2nd morning having breakfast. Breakfast was served in a beautifully decorated room and was well presented, cooked to perfection and was more than enough to see you through until the evening. Would we stay again..... most definitely but for a little longer than our 2 nights next time. Rob and Kerrie

Located in a quiet area just off the Promenade, The Sandalwood is great for anyone wanting a quiet spot with good access to the city centre. Vanessa and Mark are warm, welcoming and friendly hosts. Our room was beautifully presented, light and bright with an incredibly comfortable bed and superb pillows - so much so I intend to buy some for myself. It had everything you could need and the en-suite was ideal. Breakfast is served in the pretty dining room and was excellent, freshly cooked and beautifully presented. I was provided with vegetarian sausages which made me very happy! We very much enjoyed our stay at The Sandalwood and would be very happy to return.

Stayed here for 2 nights had a fantastic experience from start to finish was welcomed by Mark and shown to room straight away this was very clean and tidy with complimentary tea coffee biscuits and toiletries . The breakfast was served at 9am offering cereals pastries full cooked breakfast with orange juice filtered coffee and tea . The full English was well presented and exceptional. Great location . Would definitely recommend to couples so peaceful the bus stop to town is couple of minutes walk away there's also a pub called the gynn which is 2 mins away.

Yet again a wonderful 3 night stay everything spotlessly clean, rooms exceptionally comfortable with plenty tea coffee and biscuits. A lovely en-suite with all supplies. Breakfast was sensational perfectly cooked and plentiful. Thank you Mark and Vanessa for another pleasant stay. Xx
