We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel was very modern and clean in a very central part of Bordeaux The staff at this hotel were exceptional.Which is where this hotel is better than all others.Audrey checked us in and was marvellous. She gave us a drink and biscuits while she checked us in.She took us to our room and showed us around it.Our bags were carried up to our room for us. All of the staff, including the cleaners, were very friendly and would help with anything. They all spoke to us in English as we could not speak French. We used public transport around Bordeaux which is all close to the hotel. We used a direct bus between the hotel and train station. We recommend this hotel to anyone going to Bordeaux.

The Hotel Singulier is highly recommended for travelers who prefer to stay in a beautifully restored building close to most of the attractions in the traditional part of the city centre and only approximately 10-15’ to walk to the quais of the Garonne. We stayed in a junior suite on the third floor which is beautifully furnished, a mix between traditional and modern elements, e.g. free standing bath tub and separate shower, very comfortable king size bed, quiet air conditioning. Be aware that this hotel does not have an elevator but the staff carried our luggage up the stairs to our room. Also, every room is different, so we can only review our junior suite. Apart from this lovely room and the very friendly staff, the other highlight is the roof terrace where a delicious breakfast is provided (wheather conditions permitting). In summary, we can highly recommend this unique hotel if you enjoy to rather stay in a villa than in one of the standard hotels of the large hotel chains.

Perfect location, cosy rooms but not small. Nice design. We had breakfast on the roof terrace which is amazing. And the service is five star. So if you like a more personal and privat atmosphere it‘s a perfect place to stay one night or a few days.

Fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of the city.. so much attention to detail to the design and decor of the rooms gives a feel of real opulence. Management and their team make so much effort to make your stay happy and comfortable.. nice to stay in a hotel with interaction with a team who care.. We had breakfast on the roof top terrace - if you stay here and the weather allows take time to do this - you will not be disappointed.. thank you so much to the wonderful team for making our first Bordeaux stay so wonderful.

We visited in early July. We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Very attentive and helpful staff. It is a bit of old world charm. There is a lot of attention to detail. They made us feel very special right from helping us to book restaurants, wine bars etc. We would highly recommend.

We stayed here for one night at the beginning of June as a stop over. It was difficult to find, parking was in a cramped public car park quite a long way away so we had to drag luggage through the streets, and it was expensive! Initially I thought the staff were very nice but actually they were just a bit too nice - to the point of feeling quite uncomfortable. The small lady tried to carry our suitcases but as my husband’s is so heavy he was embarrassed and had to almost fight her to get it back. There were other staff involved in the greeting of us and they were simply over-smiling and almost bowing. It was a bit creepy! The lobby entrance is straight off the street and is tiny. This is where they serve you breakfast. There are no other communal spaces other than the roof terrace (more about that later). The hotel has NO lift and the one staircase is steep, narrow and windy to all the rooms. They carried my case up the stairs but I had to carry it down in the morning. It felt incredibly cramped and claustrophobic. Don’t be deceived by the photo of the relaxing looking rooftop terrace. That too is TINY. We went up to look but felt very uncomfortable as there were 4 other guests up there and it felt cramped and full so we left. The bedroom fitments and sheets etc undoubtedly were top quality, but the room simply doesn’t work. There is a bathtub- NO SHOWER- which is in the middle of the room. So are the sinks. It just didn’t feel right and was awkward to use. Going back to the staff - ours gave us a long talk on the features of the room, right down to how to press the plug up and down to get rid of the water! After the lengthy show I just wanted her to go away. My husband paid her a tip to do so! It was a comfortable bed and a sufficient sleepover but we wouldn’t return.

Our stay at Hôtel Singulier was amazing. The checkin process was simple with the hotel staff greeting us promptly with a smile. The rooms are stylish and so comfortable, and the beds? We want to take it home with us! Big rooms with lots of space. The breakfast was delicious and brought to our room with a smile. The hotel reception provided many options for food, drinks and activities - which we loved! A special thank you to Audrey for making our time in Bordeaux so special. Merci!

An amazingly friendly hotel! Audrey and the other staff were extremely helpful and gave us some great tips on what to do im Bordeaux. A great location, mere steps away from the vielle ville. We stayed in the apartment, which was only a stones throw from the hotel and which, in itself, was an amazing experience! So french, and quaint, but with all modern amenities, a great shower and a separate toilet. We had an early arrival flight, and because the rooms were not yet ready, our luggage was brought to the apartment by the hotel staff while we were sightseeing. The delicious breakfast served on the rooftop terrace which had a fantastic view of the city and surroundings.

Stayed at the hotel in April with some friends. I don’t generally write reviews, but this hotel was amazing and I would absolutely recommend. The service was great. We had breakfast one morning on the roof top and it was superb. The location was great too, located on a very quiet street off the Main Street, walking distance to everything yet very quiet. Really good!
