Everything was so fantastic! Well.., except the weather as ut was raining almost the whole time. The safaris, the food, the staff, all so nice! Special thanks to JD, he was fun, nice and knows so much about the animals and the nature. The food was really good and we had every night a different table next to a so cosy fireplace. Our room was number 1 and we had total privacy there. Love!

The view is spectacular, the accommodation amazing, the staff is superb and the drives are exciting.

A wonderful lodge for a special time out in the nature. We enjoyed here some very good game drives with our friendly and excellent guide Mojela. The food was very good and the waiter Patric very friendly. The rooms are nice. One evening we had the chance to get an astronomic lesson by the manager who showed us his profound knowledge about the stars. This experience would even be toped with a telescope in this wonderful area. The only point we would apreciate if in the included drinks there would be some Prosecco/sparkling wine. The WIFI-connection in the room was not very reliable. We can recommend Clifftop for a Safari stay as a couple we will take wonderful memories with us.

This place in Welgonvendon Private game reserve was recommended by my travel agent. My friend and I had had just done 2 weeks cycling in the Drakensberg mountains and Kruger for 2 days and we wanted some luxury. We were not disappointed.. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like royalty. Attention to detail with cool lemongrass cloths when returning from game drives and everything you could possible want before you even know you want it! We had special menus done for us because we were vegan , with our own menus and the food was absolutely wonderful. The individual lodges are very private with plunge pools, outdoor showers and so tasteful dine inside....literally everything you could need is thought of .Cannot recommend the place the food and the staff enough. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Perfect for real romantics and foodies.

From the moment you arrive, the service is just exceptional. Steve and Gilda are absolute gems and gave us a lovely warm welcome. Chantal was absolutely amazing and made sure we were well taken care of the entire weekend. The rooms are very spacious with so many seating places to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. From flowing drinks the entire weekend from our butlers to delicious meals prepared throughout the day and thanks to Tyrone for the lovely game drives where we got to see Lions ,lots of Rhino’s and other game, he is really passionate about his work and very entertaining. Clifftop is definitely a must visit, I cannot wait to go back again. Thank you to everyone at Clifftop for making our weekend so memorable.

De lodge is fantastisch gelegen, vanaf het terras heb je een schitterend uitzicht over een kloof. Onze suite was prachtig, met een mooi terras met eigen zwembad. Het hotel heeft een moderne maar warme uitstraling. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. De maaltijden zijn van hoge kwaliteit en de hapjes bij de high tea waren verfijnd. Aan onze prima gids lag het niet, maar helaas hebben we tijdens de game drives niet heel veel verschillende dieren gezien. Dit is wel een zeer geschikt park om neushoorns te zien.
