Trash!!! There was a glitch online, and my original intended booking with Wyndham Days Inn in Brea was somehow switched to Travel Lodge Brea. I arrived there and requested to transfer my paid booking to the Days Inn. However, the individual at the front desk made very unprofessional and inappropriate comments like (no hanky panky business here). This was unsolicited and extremely inappropriate. I informed the individual that the booking was a mistake and that my travel party wished to switch our booking to another Wyndham property. I was informed that no refunds are allowed, but I would have to contact the 3rd party app for assistance in cancelation. I then called the support number for help and was informed that the travel lodge does not give refunds. However, the customer service rep said that they would contact the property manager and confirm the request. I was still at the travel lodge property and asked the front desk if they could confirm the request for cancelation. They said that they would pass the message to the manager. Several hours later, I received an email that my request was denied. This is trash, unprofessional, and extremely inconvenient because our travel party was not able to book another room at the last minute, and we were forced to stay in our vehicle for the evening until a vacancy became available at another hotel. Our experience with this specific TRAVEL LODGE was horrific. And to add to insult, they kept our money when we didn't even check in. They outright refused to refund our money so that we could transfer it to the original hotel. On July 19th, there were apparently a lot of glitches online that caused problems with online booking, and it appears that we were victims of this. It is sad and downright pathetic that individuals like the one at the front desk at the Travel Lodge in Brea, Calif, believe that it is appropriate in any culture, language, or region to make inappropriate, and irresponsible comments, as well as arbitrarily circumvent policy when they were politely asked to help and assist a patron who had encountered a problem with booking. Furthermore, as we left the property, a police cruiser arrived and followed us for several blocks as we left the property after receiving absolutely no assistance. This could have been random. However, it came across as capricious and extremely unsettling.

You get what you pay for good for sleep it us quiet for the area and the improve and restuarant are close by

Transition hotel, highly recommended, very cost-effective. It's a 5-minute drive from the airport. Notify the flight in advance and pick up the airport on time after 11 o'clock, which is very convenient. The hotel room facilities are basically the same as those at home in China. They are very clean. Disposable toothbrushes are not provided, so remember to bring your own. The breakfast is very good, and the infinity pool on the top floor is also great. If you think about a hotel for 200 yuan per night, you can't find such supporting facilities in China. It is suitable for the transition between the first and last days. Close your eyes and enjoy it.

We’ll… I rated it a 2 cuz it’s not a high end place; I dirted my long term girlfriend for some Vietnamese snack and ruined my relationship. Then the dog and I went back because I’m a player selfish fun I’m a cheater so lost my hot girl, sucks but hey

When we got to the room they gave us someone in the next room must have been showering which was very noisy. This went on for a half hour before we decided we didn't want to put up with the noise and they moved us to another room, but closer to the street, so more traffic noise. The first night there were many people in the adjacent room who were up until at least 2 am talking and we could hear it all, although they weren't being particularly noisy - just no soundproofing. The room was clean. The floors were hard surface, so no nasty, dirty carpet. The faucet handle at the sink was loose like it was ready to fall off and we never could get hot water from it. But the shower had hot water. Mattress was hard, but we slept OK. Overall OK for a cheaper motel, but my husband said never again stay at Travelodge.

Steer so clear of this place, The short man at the front is a nightmare to put it lightly and completely unprofessional and disrespectful. They also don’t even clean out the room after each visit so it’s also a health hazard. Unless you are truly truly desperate, don’t waste your money, they are completely fraudulent, dirty and shouldn’t even be allowed to be running a “business”

The whole place has a stench. It's a smoking property. Couldn't wait to get home to shower the stench of that place off of me. Also, they might as well not bother having internet service since it barely crawls. Did I mention the rude staff? It's unbelievable this place has any stars at all!

The outside is quite plain. But the rooms were excellent. Must have been recently redone. The beds have no bounce, firm. But very comfortable. We both slept well; no noise. The shower control was three times better that what have at home. AC was easy to understand. WiFi good with the password on the TV clicker. We stay at economy hotels and this was the best balance of cost and amenities. I can’t think of a change I’d suggest. I wish this was closer to our regular spot in Hollywood.

Just a place to lay your head down. Don’t expect and nice soft comfy bed, as the mattress was quite hard. They did have different pillows, fluffy, flat you have options. Nothing special here. It’s convenient to places to eat or shop but that’s about it.

I stayed here recently for work close by. Everything about this place leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Spend your money elsewhere there's way better places and better people to rent from. The owner of the place is an extremely rude and hostile woman.

Got all checked-in and settled just fine. I tried taking a picture of the motel and sign from the public sidewalk, so our friends could find it easier. Then, a screaming woman came out, grabbed my phone and threw it into the street. I think it might have been a manager or owner. She said photos were illegal and that they wanted our family, including two small children to leave immediately. The woman went to our room and physically dragged my wife and children out of the room and locked it with all our things still inside. Then they blocked our car in with another car and said we "could not leave until the police came to take us to jail." We all stood out on the sidewalk waiting for police. After police talked with the owners/managers, police let us back in the room to get our things. We asked for the motel to refund our reservation. They said no. Later we noticed a whole list of additional charges on our credit card for extra cleaning, extra parking fees, food delivery, late check-out, and three additional nights stay at the really high rack rates. Obviously someone here came unhinged, and obviously this one is likely going to litigation. Terrible, frightening experience! I got our money back for the original booking from the booking agent, but the additional charges remain. We were trespassed and accused of assaulting them. Fortunately, I recorded the incident from the moment the lady freaked out about public photography, I showed the police the video and the assault complaint was discredited. Seems like a risky and dangerous place to stay. We will not return nor recommend to anyone.

Do not patronizes company there anti-American they don’t believe in the first amendment photographing in the parking lot. Check out the YouTube video name of it is the Karen couple freak out a site a camera and call police and try to get me arrested. There are way better hotels than this one these people are very unfriendly. Do not stay here if you were an American who care about the constitutional first amendment second amendment and third amendment. You guys need to change your ways. They’ll be more bad reviews coming your way the way you treat people.
