Hotel du Vin & Bistro Brighton

good experience in Brighton， the room is very nice，cleaned and with a big bathroom ，the reception is nice too.

Stayed a few times in the past, was a treat for my partner. Paid £313 for a mid week night stay with 2 course meal and breakfast. I paid to upgrade to a suite. Staff were lovely as always and a shout out to Toby who made the most amazing cocktails. Unfortunately there was drilling in the street outside my window til 3am, I did not sleep due to the noise. This is not the hotels fault. I did call 4 x to reception for ear plugs but no answer and none in the room. The rooms are looking run down. Carpets have stains, the shower leaks through the doors and pours out into the room. We used 2 towels to prevent damaging the carpet, we couldn’t enjoy the shower due to this. There’s heavy amounts of sealant used to plug up to bathroom, this looks unsightly. Shower heads had thick dust in them. The room needs a deep clean, it didn’t feel clean. The mattress was in need of replacement, my side had a huge dip and felt like I was sleeping on wood. It was very lumpy. Overall I had a dreadful nights sleep, I came home and went to my own bed! For £313 I feel very disappointed, this room was meant to be the upgrade. This was a special stay which cost a lot of money.I’m unlikely to return back to this hotel. I fully understand the noise outside is beyond their control but the room and comfort was not to the standard I was expecting.

Loved my stay. Room and bed very comfortable. All Staff lovely, especially the young lad on reception. He made my stay so enjoyable. Very friendly, smart and nothing to much trouble. My room was a long way up and he carried my bags up and when i left came and got them for me. If you stay there remember there is no lift so make staff aware if you struggle with stairs and they will bare that in mind when you book.your room.

I am so so grateful for the lovely Becky at reception and the team at hotel du vin. I left a personal and very sentimental possession at the hotel for 6 months (I only realised I left it there after that long silly me) and the hotel kept it safe for me the entire time. They were very helpful in locating it ands returned it to me.

The entire stay was wonderful, from the warm welcome we received the moment we stepped into the hotel, until our goodbyes at the end. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy with high quality linens and lovely pillows. The breakfast was outstanding and yet again, the service was excellent. It is minutes away from Brighton Pier, has easy access to restaurants as is positioned right by the lanes which are a shoppers dream. The next trip has already been planned!

The staff, front of house and bar staff, were lovely. We requested th change rooms as the first room offered to us had no daylight. This was sorted swiftly. The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to everything. No complaints really!!!

A fantastic weekend for our wedding anniversary. The staff are always very attentive and particularly helpful. We have stayed a number of times over the years and in various rooms, this time was in a suite which had windows looking out the front of the hotel and a slight view of the sea! The hotel is positioned perfectly for the lanes and seafront. The bar has a great feel about it and the bar staff are always very friendly, recommending places to eat and drink if you want to venture out. We only ate in the hotel for breakfast and this set us up nicely for the day, lots to chose from and all perfectly cooked. Parking can be difficult and expensive but that's just Brighton, not the hotel. Overall we highly recommend the hotel and will be going back again soon.

Me and my sister came to Brighton for a relaxing night away and it was perfect. All of the staff made the stay incredible, special thanks to Kat and Michelle on reception for being so kind and welcoming and to all the staff in the Bistro for taking such good care of us, Mohammed, Akaterini, Kimberley and Admino, the manager. The room was beautiful with a view of the sea and the food at dinner was to die for. Will definitely be back again!

On Thursday my (now) Husband and I got married and had an intimate family reception and dinner at Hotel Du Vin after. The service, food and drinks were all 10/10. We had the lovely Agata looking after us, who was just fantastic, she was so patient, accommodating and you couldn't have asked for anyone better to look after you and your guests. The SCOTTISH MALT WHISKEY SNUG was the perfect room for our needs, and we loved the freedom of opening up the doors and being able to use the outside space. Staff were happy to bring us out cocktails and our wedding cake so we could cut it under the stars and sparkling lights. I had a two night stay in one of the suits which was gorgeous, although I did believe that breakfast was included, so was a little shocked at the additional £44 a day charge on check out, but we very much enjoyed every moment of our stay!
