Abbots Grange Manor House

Stayed on Sunday 8th December 2024 in the Bishops Suite. This was our first visit and we were astounded as to how nice the place was. The welcome and the tour round with the history was amazing. Although they don’t have a restaurant it is so close to the beautiful village of Broadway with numerous choices for evening meal it doesn’t matter. Our room was fantastic, warm and incredible. 4 poster bed so comfy! Breakfast was delightful too. Will definitely be visiting again but we’ll try and go when there is no storms! The Christmas lights in Broadway were beautiful also. Thank you to Stacey and all the staff. Dave S and Caroline.

Just fantastic ! Brilliant location and beautiful manor house. Everything at Abbots Grange is brilliant, displaying quietly understated elegance with a very relaxed, calm and luxurious approach, in a fabulous setting. The christmas decorations just added an extra homely feel with the real fire making it very seasonal. Our welcome was lovely, a glass of fizz and no rush. Room was excellent, lovely comfy beds and heating we could regulate which is great. The team were all very welcoming and efficient, and even arranged flowers for my husband’s birthday which was brilliant at short notice. Breakfast first class, very fresh, hot and plentiful. Lovely dining room. Bathroom very well equipped super walk-in shower, spacious and warm. Highly recommended - a really lovely stay - thank you

I think this is the fourth time we have stayed at Abbots Grange. For us it’s unusual to stay this number of occasions at any hotel or B and B. With so many wonderful and interesting options we tend to try different venues. However, there is undoubtedly something very special about Abbots Grange. From the warm welcome, the variety of different room styles, the history of the property to the fabulous breakfast. All of the above plus the easy and secure parking and its proximity to the village. Friendly and welcoming staff, lovely room, fantastic breakfast, beautiful grounds. Very conveniently located to walk everywhere in the area. Such an amazing building and loved the little self-serve bar. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at this excellent hotel. After driving in we were captivated by the beautiful building bathed in soft October sunlight. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne before being shown to our well appointed rooms complete with four poster beds, a lovely seating area overlooking the grounds and a generous en suite bathroom. Once we were settled in we adjourned to the vaulted great room for afternoon tea and cake. Abbots Grange has the wonderful advantage of being a property that is steeped in history with extensive views over the surrounding countryside offering tennis, croquet and lovely outdoor seating areas but it is only a two minute walk from town so it offers the best of both worlds. Service is impeccable. The staff are clearly well trained to ensure that your stay is enjoyable which ours was. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and found the servers to be very accommodating and pleasant. This property has an understated luxury and elegance with no stuffiness. The location is superb, the setting is glorious, and the staff are first class. If you are heading to the Cotswolds treat yourself to a night or two at Abbots Grange Manor. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in October. The accommodation was excellent. The staff, without exception, were very friendly and extremely helpful. It was a real pleasure to stay in such a lovely Manor house with an incredible history (both the historic nature and the early 19th century owners and artistic visitors, including John Singer Sargent and Monet). We stayed in the Bishops Suite, which was perfect for our short stay. We plan to revisit next year and would highly recommend this hotel together with its convenient location to Broaadway and the surrounding Cotswold villages.
