We stayed here on our 1st nite before a river cruise, we had a great room on the 6th floor over looking the River Danube with views of the beautiful Parliament building - can't complain. Although the room was very modern, the carpet was quite stained, there was a lot of thick dust on the ledge over the bed and under TV consul and also the toilet seat was quite stained and not up the usual 4 * standard. We also stayed 1 night after the river cruise room 123 Same stained carpet, filthy remote control, and a lot of ant like bugs on bedclothes and furniture, which we showed to reception. We received a complimentary drink voucher (👍) And offered housekeeping, which we declined as we were heading out for dinner. The curtain had a black cigarette burn quite visible, which wasn't nice to look at. On a positive note, the staff were very helpful on check-in.

This is a nice 4 star hotel overlooking the Danube on the Budapest side of the river. Superior rooms are at the front of the hotel, which is the newer part. You have a choice of River View or Castle view, River view is better and attracts a supplement. Our reservation through Trip mentioned Castle view and River view, but you cannot have both! Breakfast is a good choice of hot and cold food, nice coffee and cakes. Rooms are well equipped, clean and serviced daily. Good hot water. Bathrooms have a bath with over bath shower. Toiletries are provided. Towels changed daily. Rooms have safes, kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. The TV was a Cable TV and had a variety of channels, one English, BBC. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and a gym. Staff are very helpful, we managed to check in early and upgrade our room to one with a River view. A good selection of nice restaurants are within 10 mins walk. The hotel is situated directly beneath the Castle, access by the steps or via the funicular which is 5 min walk along by the river, alternatively large buggy vehicles operate a hop on hop off shuttle service. We found that the Bolt taxi service (bit like Uber) is very good. We has a freelance taxi driver try to scam us by not using his meter, we refused to pay and invited him to call the police. Avoid freelance taxi drivers and make sure they use their meters. Bolt uses an app and was a lot cheaper than the price the hotel informed us if we used their taxi service. Overall is good. Direct tram from kelenfold bus station. Near to tram station which is about 1-2mins walk. SPAR supermarket and metro station is about 5mins walk. Breakfast choices are quite reasonabke. Front desk service is good. Hotel is just by the river. Night view by the riverside is very suitable to chill and relax. Most of the amenities are provided in the room But the kettle was found with a lot of remnants inside.

Just in front of the Danube river, at the back is facing Fisherman Baston. Great location. Great views from room

It's not bad, the receptionist is very nice and always speaks with smile. However, there were no slippers in the room and calling the room service number to inquire about them did not solve the problem. The scenery is still good, good choice for the price:)

Great location, view is beautiful

Hotel location is excellent, just next to Danube River and having a great view of the Parliament. Also a few minutes walk to the pier to join the River Cruise. We lived a triple room and it is specious. The breakfast is very good. The staff is nice and helpful, especially the gentleman at the checkin counter who helped me to book a restaurant for dinner.

Location was decent. Room was slightly dated and did not feel very clean. AC was not working.

I've been to all the hotels that are famous for their night view of Budapest, one of the top 3 views in the world, and this one was the worst of them all. The view is great because of the location, but the customer service is way below the Victoria Hotel or Novotel, the smelly rooms are ridiculous, and the stiff reception is not friendly at all because they're used to groups of tourists. Perhaps you will see why the Radisson family of hotels is not recognized, the Accor family of hotels is so much more friendly and welcoming than even the Ibis hotels. I will never come here again as I keep traveling for business and split my bookings between different hotels, this was my worst experience in Budapest. On a side note, the fridge works in some rooms and not in others and you can't choose.

Great hotel, staff very helpful. Well located with views of the river and within 5 min walk of underground.
