"This is a really great hotel. The facilities have a wonderful sense of history, and it's very clean. It's a shame I only stayed for one night, but I'll definitely come back if I have the chance."

"Hotel had everything we needed and the staffs were really nice! It is also very near a metro station, supermarket, and good food. Only down side is that the carpet is slightly stained (might be hard to maintain), otherwise all other facilities was really clean and nice. Also note that it might not be for light sleepers as the road sounds are loud and every hour you’ll get big honking/sirens wailing."

"Not far from the main station, lots of shops nearby the facilities are decent nothing to complain about , next to lidl /gate next to a kebab shop no4 got a bit confused as I was expecting a big sign 😳"

"A great hotel in its price category. Near (minute 7 walk) subway station. The room is small but enough to stay. The room has air conditioning, refrigerator, fan. Good breakfast. We had breakfast in a cozy interior courtyard - beauty. From the downsides - noise isolation no and air conditioner is installed so that blows exactly on the bed (we had number 309)"

"The location is absolutely fantastic, right on the Buda side, directly beneath Fisherman's Bastion. We checked in during the evening and could immediately walk to Fisherman's Bastion from the back of the hotel. The Chain Bridge is also just a short downhill walk away. The breakfast spread was very generous, offering a wide variety of cheeses, sausages, and fruits. The front desk staff spoke excellent English. The hotel itself is small but charming. The only minor issue was that the 'double bed' was actually two single beds pushed together, which wasn't ideal for couples wanting to sleep close. Downstairs, you'll find several traditional Portuguese restaurants with reasonable prices."

"Nice location, ideal for tourists. It's about few mins away from the subway and groceries, and provides easy access to Hero's Square. The breakfast is a definite highlight and a great way to start the day. The only minor inconvenience is the lack of in-room tea/coffee facilities."

"The hotel is right on the Buda fisherman bastion the best location,a little pricey. Disappointed due to no air conditioning hotel said they put off air conditioning during this season Starting October. Most of Europe does this. They instructed us to just open windows,if a person has respiratory issues it would affect their breathing. The temperature of the room is not consistent near the window is cold away from the window is hot, Otherwise it is a good place to stay."

"Having just returned from Madrid, Spain, I found this place incredibly spacious, authentically European in style, and very cozy by comparison. Although there was a minor hiccup – a curtain fixture accidentally fell off the wall, likely due to the building's age – I still quite liked its classic charm. Moreover, the building's location is superb, right at the entrance of a major metro hub. You can get off the airport express, cross the road, and be at the hotel – absolutely no need for a taxi for check-in. Overall, the experience was fantastic. The gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally elegant and polite, making it feel akin to staying at Shanghai's legendary Peace Hotel."

"I chose hotel because of the aesthetics and location. Thought economy room will be plain but it wasn’t! High ceiling, nice room design and beautiful view to courtyard. Me and my teenager daughter enjoyed the stay definitely!"

"The hotel is conveniently located right next to Budapest Keleti train station, making it easy to travel around the city. It’s only about five tram stops to the city centre, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. If you get a room facing the main road, you’ll also enjoy a great view of the train station. However, there are some downsides. The air conditioning doesn’t work during autumn and winter, so the only option for ventilation is to open the window. Unfortunately, the hotel is extremely noisy since it’s right next to a main road where police and ambulance sirens go off very frequently, making it hard to rest. Additionally, luggage storage isn’t free—you have to pay by the hour, which feels a bit inconvenient. Overall, it’s a great choice for location and convenience, but not ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet or comfort in cooler seasons."
