Ibis Hotels in Budapest

Excellent Stay with Great Views and Transit Access Location & Sightseeing: The hotel is located very close to the Metro, making it incredibly easy to navigate the city. It is also just a short distance from Fisherman’s Bastion, which is perfect for sightseeing. Budapest Public Transport: Public transport here is fantastic-honestly one of the best systems I’ve experienced, so there is no need to worry about getting around. If you get the Budapest Pass, you can travel anywhere in the city with ease. The Hotel & Room: The property is a combined building shared between two brands: the Mercure hotel occupies the higher floors, while the ibis is on the lower floors. I stayed on the second floor of the ibis, and the view from my room was still absolutely spectacular. Between the great location, smooth transit access, and the view, this stay was worth it.

Excellent place for a pleasant stay. It's not in the city center, true, but! The metro is within walking distance, and there's a large transportation hub nearby. Getting to the center takes 30 minutes, but it's quiet and peaceful in the evenings. The rooms are good and clean, though small, but we booked for two people and it was perfectly adequate for us! I highly recommend it if you want to stay in a quiet area and not worry about how to get to the city center ;-)

The lady who checked me in was very helpful, and I'd like to thank her. The hotel's location is good, and the security access is well-managed. The room hygiene and bedding were also quite good. The bathroom still featured the 3-in-1 body wash and an old-fashioned hairdryer. The only real downside was the poor soundproofing; I could hear the noise of chairs being dragged, things being knocked, and doors opening and closing from other rooms late at night and early in the morning. Also, the hallway lights were on 24/7, and there was a large gap under the room door, which led to significant light and sound leakage.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate. The water pressure was excellent, and the large bathtub made for a relaxing soak. However, there was no fridge or kettle in the room, though hot water was available on the first floor.

Room includes 3 power outlets and an extra pillow. There’s no water kettle. The space is generous, and the hotel is conveniently located near a metro station, Lidl supermarket, and several restaurants. Overall rating: 5/5.
