NH Collection Budapest City Center

Budapest|2.38km from Széchenyi Thermal Bath
This hotel is situated in the city centre which has everything you may need close by. I was given so many complimentary benefits such as: - Early Check In/Late Check Out - 15% Discount In Hotel Services - Free Room Upgrade (From Standard Studio To 2 Bedroom Penthouse Apartment) - Complimentary Bottle Of Champagne With A Welcome Letter Big shoutout to Robert & Emese for ensuring my stay was superb from check in to check out. The staff always greeting me when seeing me at reception, which really made me feel welcome by giving me the V.I.P treatment. As for the two bedroom penthouse apartment, I was really impressed from the modern interior to how spacious the apartment was, as I originally booked for a studio room. I was allocated on the 8th floor which was the highest floor in the building. I had a balcony upstairs in my bedroom and downstairs in the living room where I can enjoy the morning views each day. The bathrooms in both rooms had nice aesthetics and was very spacious. You literally all the apartments amenities you may need from a washing machine to fridge to a stove and oven. For the spa absolutely amazing. It had a igloo concept of a design which was different but I loved it. Throughout the spa complex you can feel your presence noticed as I was greeted by every staff. The spa is situated on the other side of the hotel which is connected to their sister brand hotel Anantara New York Palace Budapest. Positives: Within the city centre, modern design, good amenities, great customer service. They have everything you may need for both business and leisure. Negatives: No smart TV, breakfast isn’t really spoilt for choice but it’s okay. Recommend going once and going elsewhere for the other days, such as the new york cafe which is next door or cafe ciruksz if you want a full English type breakfast. Thank You NH Collection - Budapest City Center for having me and your service was impeccable. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Ibis Budapest Heroes Square

Budapest|0.64km from Széchenyi Thermal Bath
Just Retuned from a 3 night stay in ibis , heroes square. Arrived late at night. The staff member was very welcoming, check in was a breeze. Our room was on the 4th floor. And was quiet. The reception area was very nice, and there was a bar, so we had a quick beer before we went to our room, after our long journey. The room itself was clean , spacious, and plenty of room to hang your clothes. There was also a safe provided. The bathroom with shower was very clean, and the shower worked perfectly. There was also a TV for use. The breakfast was plentiful and choice was good. However the last day we were there, we went down for breakfast, and there was no plates, no cutlery, not enough hot food ready, also there was no milk in one of the coffee machines.so we had to wait a while for these items to be replenished. We purchased a budapest card to make our stay in budapest easier, we had a great help from the hotel staff directing us places, and organising a shuttle bus service to pick us up from the hotel, to go back to the airport. That was a great help. Thanks again to that staff member 👍 . So , in summary, Room good, hotel staff really good, great location ( bus stop right outside front door, and a subway station just around the corner. Buy a budapest travel card, great value, and great convenience for using all the transport links.) Breakfast- food good, however try not to let things run out as much as we experienced. A couple of things to brush up on, but all in all , a really good stay, and would definitely return 👍

Mirage Medic Hotel

This hotel was beautiful. The location is great not in the city center but right Infront of the plaza, even my taxi driver told me the hotel location was amazing. It feels a bit strange to find out it’s a hotel for chinese medicine, and the breakfast buffet was a bit strange. Other than that everything was excellent.
Benczur Hotel

At this price it would be really difficult to beat this hotel. Even though the rooms are a little old-fashioned, everything was clean, the view was great and there was air conditioning. It is in quiet area and beds are really comfortable so we got a good night sleep. If you are looking for a hotel at a reasonable price and dont mind walking a bit to get to the city center it is a really good choice.

As part of the VBT trip we stayed at your hotel this week. Unfortunately one of us tested positive for Covid-19 and due to the fact that we were scheduled to fly back to the US, we needed to extend our stay and quarantine. Mark, at the front desk, provided outstanding service. He helped make arrangement for our extended stay and helped us contact the travel services included with our VBT trip. He made sure we had food though room service and personally delivered menus and food. Mark made a bad situation much better and we are very grateful for his help. Jim Slavin
