Nous y avons passé une nuit de passage à Butare. Nous ne pouvons que nous féliciter du conseil qui nous avait été donné. C'est un petit hôtel/maison d'hôtes. Accès par un chemin un peu cahotique mais parfaitement praticable et bien balisé (en plus du plan envoyé par Françoise) et qui nous conduit dans un endroit calme à l'écart de la route principale. Belles chambre, belle salle de bains, le tout très propre. Nous sommes arrivés en début d'après-midi. On a accepté gentiment de nous préparer un lunch léger servi sur la terrasse donnant sur un beau jardin. Le soir, nous avions réservé la table d'hôte. Simple mais très bonne cuisine "familiale. Petit déjeuner au diapason. Accueil et service efficace, discret et agréable. Sur le plan "pratique" : bon Wi-Fi et parking fermé. On y retournera si nos chemin nous ramènent dans cette région...

Nice quiet hotel. Very few residents. Comfortable rooms and beddings. steady internet. Fresh food made on request. Breakfast served outside at the gazebo where one enjoys the natural setting. A lovely place to stay.

This charming hotel is on the outskirts of Huye (formerly Butare) Rwanda, a university town in southern Rwanda. In a beautiful garden setting, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The dining space is lovely, either in a gazebo set in the garden or an open covered patio. The staff is lovely, friendly, and professional. Food is delicious. Highly recommended if you have business in Huye (downtown and university are a 15 minute drive) or are touring in the area. An excellent ethnographic museum is very close by, as well as the former king's palace. The beautiful Nyungwe Forest is a couple hours drive away.

Pros: breakfast is really good, staff is kind and professional, rooms are clean and have access to hot water, garden is beautiful, it is quiet Cons: the access road is very tricky and it's a bit hard to find, wifi isn't great (not always available and has a limit), our mattresses were really hard and for us uncomfortable, no dinner/lunch options, booked a twin room in advance and got a regular double bed + a bunk bed instead It's not a bad place at all but for the price (90$ per night), I wouldn't go there again due to the cons listed above.

Magnifique établissement avec un accueil formidable. J’ai passé une semaine dans cette maison d’hôte et j’y reviendrai sans problème. La chambre était parfaite. Ils proposent une cuisine local que vous ne trouverez pas ailleurs. Les petits déjeuners pris sur la terrasse sont juste incroyables ! Rapport qualité prix c’est 10/10 Merci à Joséphine et tout le personnel ! J’ai passé une semaine que je n’oublierais jamais !

Nous avons été enchantés de notre nuit de passage à la maison sifa . Joséphine et Alexis sont aux petits soins et très gentils . Chambres très propres , literie inégale allant du matelas ferme à très très ferme . Endroit relaxant , très beau jardin , on se sent comme à la maison . Bon dîner . Très bon petit déjeuner. La patronne Françoise est facilement joignable par mail . A recommander .
