Quite simply the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Dirty, tired, smells of smoke and understaffed. After 5mins of checking in I requested a room change. Mold on shower curtains, stale smoke smell throughout, curtains did not close, carpet thread bare, toilet leaking. The new room similar but slightly less grime on surfaces. Had to buy air freshener to make it breathable. Seven power points in the room, two worked, horrendous WiFi (needed as there for work), grime covered all surfaces, loose fittings in bathroom, shower head filthy with only 3/4 unblocked holes in the head. Room service took old towels, didn’t always replace, once replaced them with torn in half rags. Billed us for false laundry services (we literally did no laundry). When we refused to pay they threatened “actions that would not be popular”. Despite DND notice, went through possessions in one of our rooms under the guise of ‘house keeping’. Quality of food awful. Left in warm temperatures, uncovered and free for flies to browse. Key cards broke on almost a daily basis. Staff smoked at the door of the dining room all day every day, the room stank of smoke. One or two lovely staff members who were understanding and helpful (Radmila) and the chef worked their fingers to the bone despite the difficult situation and poor management.
