Settle in guys, this is going to be a bumpy ride. Let me preface this review by expressing just how much I did not want to get into this, but after the absolutely disgusting way in which the owner/manager/woman at the front desk handled herself and this unfortunate situation - I feel I owe it to others as a warning. On March 1st, I contacted this caravan park via email and phone expressing my interest in booking a powered site for 3 nights over the long weekend. I didn't have much hope as I knew like most places, it would probably be booked out. To my astonishment and surprise, I was told by the lady on the phone that she has "one left" and that we could book the dates we requested. I was so elated, shocked but so happy and I immediately asked how to pay the deposit! I was so excited as it looked like the most beautiful place to holiday (it really does ☺️ it's gorgeous). I waited for the email on how to pay and it came through quickly. THIS is where things get sticky. Here is where MY error came into play by not noticing THEIR error! They had sent me the wrong dates and in my haste to book, I looked for the bank details and assumed they had done their job correctly. Spoiler alert: they hadn't. I sent a screenshot with my bank transfer of $65 and went about my day. As the owner loves to point out, 4 emails in total were sent to me. What she fails to mention is that only ONE of those emails has the (incorrect) information of the booking. The rest are terms about dogs, check in/check out etc. I've got the screenshots to confirm. Fast forward to the long weekend, my husband and I take the day off work on the Friday, pack our two young children and dog into our caravan and head off for what was meant to be an amazing family holiday. We arrive in the picturesque town of Marysville and drive to the caravan park. We park our the front and check in at reception as per the signage. When I arrive I wait to be seen by the woman at the desk and when I'm called I tell her my surname. She looks and says she can't see anything. I said my first name and she snaps at me saying "my system goes by last names! You're not here!" I thought, okay, maybe she's just frazzled with the lead up to the big influx of guests. I politely say my name again and show her my email with the confirmation number. She looks it up and says "your booking was cancelled!" I'm sorry? I was shocked! I once again politely explained that I never cancelled my booking and she rudely said "you never showed up to your booking! It was last week! You missed it!" I was in total shock and showed her my email asking for the dates of the long weekend. She once again very rudely told me that it was my fault for not checking the confirmation email and that they've been booked out for 3 months. Which she is right - I absolutely should have and I take full responsibility for that part. But the fact remains, I was told that they had "one left" on the dates I emailed about and then spoke with the staff member

This is a beautiful park in an absolutely gorgeous location, but unfortunately this is ruined by rude abusive owner/manager/staff. We stayed in one of the more expensive cabins and my children got into trouble for using the hose outside to wash their bikes and were told to wash them in the creek! We had originally booked a caravan site for the 2 nights ($160) but then changed our minds about 3 weeks before we went and booked a cabin ($740) instead and they charged me a $50 cancellation fee even though I was upgrading!! Money hungry and not at all concerned about guest experience. Most of the guests that weekend were mountain biking and given that it was the end of April and cold and wet, the park would not have been fully booked had they not all been competing at Narbethong DH race, but the contempt shown towards them was very obvious - clearly these owners don't know what side their bread is buttered. Will never stay there again, will book an AirBNB along with all our friends next time we're staying in Marysville

Despite staying on New Year's Eve everyone was quiet by 10pm, with the exemption of the occasional child with a sparkler or glow stick. It is also at a very good location, right on the Steavenson River and is only a 1 minute walk from the town, 1 minute walk from Marysville State Forest, 2 minute drive from the public swimming pool, 5 minute drive from the Steavenson Fall, half an hour drive from Healesville and 90 minute drive from Melbourne.

Way too greedy. Campsite over Easter for a family of five was $765.00! They have a 5 night minimum and $15 per extra person per day whether they are there or not. By Monday afternoon the campground was only half full as people had to return for work but they still kept their money. To top it off the manageress is rude and inconsiderate.

Facilities and location are as advertised and generally clean and functional. This stay was ruined by the extremely combative behaviour of the park maintenance guy. He needs to find a job where he as no human interaction.

Beautiful park, horrible experience. Asked to move my new clean bike out of the cabin in bucketing rain. No problem with that but instead of just saying wait until the rain stops the staff member made me move it immediately so I got saturated moving seats in my vehicle to fit the bike inside. I was singing the praises of this beautiful spot on the creek, but now I am writing this review with a horrible taste in my mouth completely saturated due to the arrogance and inflexibility of one individual.

Really pretty campsite with a small shallow creek running through it that kids love to play in. It’s pet friendly and you can enjoy a campfire. Cabins are of varying quality but the one we stayed in was an older two bed style. The beds were comfortable and electric blankets a nice touch. Bathroom was modern and clean so was a pleasant stay. I’d say they could equip the cabin kitchens a little better with things like serving plates or bowls.

This lady in the office is very very rude! Please try to avoid her as much as you can. We booked 4 campsite together and specifically requested to be together and we had the confirmed email as well but despite the agreement on the exact day without any sort of previous notices she said that she has changes one of the campsites!!!! After enquiring about why this happened all the sudden this office lady with a very abusive language started to say because she can and she does and lot more. We wanted to have fun together and she absolutely ruined everything! I asked if I can talk to the manager as she is very rude, she said she is the OWENER! She is absolutely a lier as I checked in their website and told her that it seems Cameron and Steph are the owners not you but she said they are the SILENT OWNERS! Please please Cameron and Steph if you see my massage this lady is ruining your business. She is very aggressive and rude! Why you have someone like her be the manager of your caravan park!?

It is a very well maintained park right beside the Stevenson river, with pub and supermarket next door. There is plenty of room between rows of cabins, and the 3BR villas have 2 bathrooms and covered verandah. De Longhi coffee machine and full oven, 2 queen beds and one bunk room, lovely dining and lounge setting and 2 smart TVs add to the comfort. No dishwasher, though, and there need to be a bedside lamp in the master and some hooks to hang things up in the bathrooms.
