The hygiene of this hotel is extremely poor. There were many red fire ants in the bathroom of the room on the first night. There were about 20 of them on the sink when I entered. The ceiling was full of mosquitoes at night. Even if I killed the red fire ants and mosquitoes, they would continue to appear. So I decided to change rooms the next day. The attitude of all the staff is very good. They all tried their best to help me solve the problem and were very friendly.
But when we changed rooms the next day, there were still a lot of ants and mosquitoes in the bathroom, and there were also cockroaches. The situation was very bad.

The front desk is not open from late at night to early in the morning, so you need to check the hours. It is located near the downtown area and can be moved around on foot.
The breakfast was nothing special, but it was good. Drinks can be brought or ordered for a fee. You can enjoy it on the calm front lobby floor.
The room was simple, but there was a simple kitchen. The pool jacuzzi was simple and not big enough to play in.

Bad overall experience, no WiFi for 4 days, barely any housekeeping, broken curtains and light seeping in through the room on your face right from 6 am in the morning forcing you out of sleep. Many better hotels available at much better rate right next to the esplanade. Book those.
Really bad experience for the rate charged by the hotel.
P.S - The buffer breakfast (prepaid) was really bad with hardly any options and all decent options including coffee were for extra charge.

I arrived at the end of November, the beginning of the rainy season, and arrived at 4am in the pouring rain, and arrived at the hotel at around 6am. I was wondering what to do when the hotel was closed, but someone staying there opened it for me.
The hotel was clean and very relaxing.
They allowed me to check in early and were very accommodating, but there were almost no amenities, just a bar of soap, shampoo, and one small bottle of conditioner.
No towel changes or additional amenities for the first 7 days...
I thought it was humid in the summer, but I thought it can't be helped because towel changes are rarely done in Australia (due to water shortages and to protect resources).
I thought the location was about 10 minutes from the main area, but it was quite far with a stroller.
Considering the hotel staff's attitude and cleanliness, I think it was pretty good.
