Cairo Paradise Hotel Reviews

I cannot recommend staying at Cairo Paradise Hotel enough. We came on quite a spontaneous trip where we had not planned each day beforehand, we booked a hotel that felt good to us, in a good location and decided that we would ask for recommendations once there. We were welcomed extremely warmly by Ahmad, and had a big and beautiful room. From the first day, we were given so much advice based on our budget and interests: Amr gave us his experience and offered us to plan our days to make the most out of our time: we did not just visit many locations, we also had guides and did things in a certain order and at every hour. These made it into a very very busy and fun adventure! Apart from travel help, everyone was very generous at the hotel, we were offered tea, coffee and Egyptian food to try, and got a taxi ride to the airport to go back. They always made sure we were safe and had any question answered. I felt so welcomed to Egypt and Cairo and I hope to go back and see them again😄 Thank you to Ahmad, Amr and everyone else! One piece of advice: sometimes on iPhone maps when you write the hotel name it can get a little mixed up, make sure when you see the destination it is on Sherif Pasha Street but also: in between 26th July Street and Adly Street. The hotel is also opposite a cake shop called El Abd Patisserie. Celeste :)

The room is old and dirty.There are a lot of insects. Breakfast is also poor. There is no hair dryer. There are many other hotels with good locations. I do not recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a renovated room so bathroom was newly done and the walls were freshly painted. Nice light options to relax with softer light. Curtain and carpet were also new and inviting. Bedding was clean. Bathroom was clean. We enjoyed our stay. It seems that rooms are being updated since other reviews were written. Many reviews seem harsh considering the price you pay. It's a higher end budget stay after all. We got soap, toilet paper and towel. You can't expect everything for a budget price. Reception area was nicely decorated for Ramadan and staff were friendly. Location is great and a fun part of Cairo to explore. Nice night markets! Typical city noises but not too loud to sleep considering its the centre of the city. Balcony sliding doors are new and close but there is no view to mention. Other guests we saw seemed content as they socialised in public area. I prepaid with ********* to avoid payment issues. Public areas do need some more renovation and some repairs but again, it did not reduce the comfort of my stay and it was acceptable being dusted and clean.It's good for Cairo. We enjoyed using the quaint art nouveau gilded style lift! A good experience overall.

Just checked in, the front desk was crazy about recommending various tourist attractions. The room was just renovated, the paint was not dry yet, and it made me dizzy. After communicating with the front desk many times, they reluctantly changed me to a smaller room. The paint smell was too strong. I stayed for 4 days, at least I should have a trash can in the room. The same towel is used for washing hair, face and bathing. You can use it if you like. Every morning at around 05:20, there will be noises of lifting tables and pulling stools. Can people sleep well? Mosquitoes are nothing. Breakfast, if you want, I will give it to you. I won't say much about the environment, you can see for yourself, after all, you get what you pay for.

The room is quite big, with a balcony, and it's said to be non-smoking, but there's actually an ashtray. The location is also OK, 20 kilometers from the airport, and it's very smooth to take the highway and tunnel, but the service is too slow, and there is no toilet paper and wastebasket in the room, which I have never encountered. However, for this price, you can't expect too much, right?

Facilities: The elevator on the sixth floor of an apartment building has everything. The whole room is clean and sanitary, which is pretty good. The surrounding environment is not very good, but it should be said that it is very convenient for living and visiting scenic spots. It is also very convenient to eat. I personally think it is worth living here.

First of all, this hotel is only on one floor on the 5th floor of the building. As soon as I entered the building, there was a bed next to me, and a homeless person was sleeping there. As you proceed, you will come to an elevator that is inexplicably dilapidated, and you will take it to the hotel. Since I was traveling alone, I only know about single rooms for one person, but I was shown to a room that was very different from the photo. First of all, the room is really small. Large carrying cases cannot be unfolded. There is no refrigerator. There was a window, but all I could see was the dilapidated elevator. The toilet is a little smaller than the toilet in a typical Japanese home, but it also has a shower attached to it. There is a normal shower on top, not like washing your butt. If you take a shower, the toilet will of course be completely soaked. There was no toilet paper, there were dead insects on the towels, and there was a mysterious stain on the air conditioner, so I couldn't stay there. I looked for another hotel on the spot and left without staying there.

The room was very nice, good quality and affordable, and the breakfast was great! Considerate service!

Very, very, very good hotel. I stayed in Egypt for twenty days and stayed in this hotel three times. Except for the few days at the Pyramids in Giza, I stayed here the rest of the time. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and pretty. The room was very clean and tidy. The room I was given was better each time I stayed there three times. The elevator in the hotel is also very unique hahahahaha. It's the elevator in the ancient castle. The experience of staying in Cairo these days is very good. It must be praised!

Poor hygiene, no toothbrush or toothpaste!
