Stay elsewhere if you don’t like cockroaches!!! Facilities are very outdated and bathroom is full of cockroaches 🪳🪳🪳We requested to change the room, which they were able to do. The key was brought to us by the concierge but their attitude is very hostile towards us. The person basically knocked on the door, and say “get your stuff, move out”We did not have any support from the concierge to move our luggage (isn’t it their job?!) but no biggie… We observed during our stay and saw that this person only acts friendly towards guests that aren’t Southeast Asian-looking. What a shame! However, the second room’s bathroom was also taken over by the roaches 😥😥😥 Later on, another staff came randomly without any call from front desk in advance to “check on our room” and asked loudly “where bugs” when looking left and right in the new room they provided to us. We were more careful this time so we took photos of the roaches in the bathroom to show as proofs (not just calling front desk to request them to change room). After seeing the photo (and a video), staff person asked to use our room’s phone and have a chat with the team. We believe that without the video, they will just leave us in the bugs room and refuse to take any additional steps. Staff then proposed that they will move us to the “Deluxe Room, bigger size for you” but what we were looking here is an apology and a clean room. Size wouldn’t matter in this case! We moved to another room for the 3rd time within the night. We had to remind the front desk person to make sure there’s no roaches in the bathroom multiple times (at this moment, we were ready to book another hotel and move out of St Giles). The deluxe room is at least clean, so we stayed for the night, but proceeded to cancel our reservation for our last night in Manila because we don’t want the hotel experience to ruin our trip. Pictures only show 1 roach but imagine you see an entire army when you first stepped into the room 🤯😭😭

It took time to check in maybe because of the long weekend so more guests will check in. I appreciate the cleanliness and room amenities of the hotel. AC is very cold, I loved it. There’s also water dispenser in the corridor. Breakfast buffet is good. Location is good. Polite Front Desk is a plus. Elevator is quite old and shaky tho haha (mini EK ride🎢) Overall, will rebook❤️🫶🏻🫰🏻

I always stay here everytime I'm in Manila. Everything you need is within walking distance, such as restaurants, bars, shops, mall, pharmacy. It has also remained affordable through out the years!

The place is near poblacion. You’ll expect 24/7 restaurants, but more on bars given the location. Check in time, there’s only 2 staff so expect a bit of a line. Room is small. Trip was able to fulfill our request in advance. Breakfast is good. Limited choices tho, got too full with eggs. Pool is really small. 8/10.

I highly recommend this hotel based on our experience with my friend, the staff are welcoming us with their great smile even how busy they are yesterday. The foods and the amenities are fabulous. The room is very clean and comfy to stay with. The bathroom is clean. Thank you St. Giles for the good and warm services offered. ❤️

This room was even better than the last one. I finally checked out the pool this time. It is nice unfortunately there are a few steps required to access it.

The rooms are small but cozy. Very clean. All the staff can speak English and they’re very friendly. Around the hotel there are many restaurants, markets, and pubs. Breakfast options are very limited, western options could be offered. Swimming pool area is decent, so is the gym

This is our 3rd time staying at St. Giles Makati. The location is very convenient, with many restaurants and stores nearby, and the staff are very accommodating. We requested a corner room after making the reservation, and they were able to arrange it for us even though the booking was made on the same day. However, the room provided had a wet spot on the carpet near the door, and we are not sure where it came from. The breakfast was okay and simple, not particularly special, but we hope they upgrade the variety of dishes given that the breakfast fee is quite expensive compared to other hotels. Overall, we love staying here; everything is good and relaxing! 🥳

The room we had was so clean and the breakfast buffet was very nice. I sent my special request for a room with a view and they gave us a room with a great view! The service was very nice, the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I had a great time. The only downside were the parking garage was confusing because there were no signs that can lead us to the exit. The amenities like the elevators were also a bit old and when we tried to go to our floor (30th flr), from the top flr, its not allowing us to go there so when we realized what was going on, had to stop to the 29th flr and use the emergency exit to go to our floor. No biggie but i would like to see more signs in the future to avoid this incident. Overall, we will come and visit again. :)

We love the view from our room as it shows the Makati and Ortigas skyline. The room has a good a/c, the pool at the 35th adds to the charm. I just had an issue with the shower as it was broken and the water pressure is not that strong. Overall, it was good. Will book again soon.

Hotel reception and doorman make sure to the small things. I was happy with location.

So far just normal stay. I expected a higher standard. Nevertheless it’s just one night, so nothing much i should expect. Breakfast was just ok.

Booked 3 rooms for our family. One twin room was much smaller than the other. Good value for money. Location is convenient. Good variety for breakfast. Pool and gym are small but satisfactory.

Iam happy staying at n this hotel, there are a lot of amenities provided. Room is clean & we enjoyed staying here. Until my next vacation. I recommend this hotel to all the travelers. You can enjoy the pool and the gym.
